I've been going to this store for some time now. We even order our thanksgiving meals here every year. First I'm going to talk about their loyalty program. Even though I enter my phone number all the time my app shows nothing! Next I'll address the staff. The lady few visits the service had been horrible specifically at the registers. They don't say hello or thank you or bye. They talk amongst themselves when checking out. Yesterday afternoon I stopping for a few things and asked a manager about a sale item not in stock. I told her the shelf was empty. She had us walk over and said "yes, there's no more" Really?? We asked if she could check the back and when she thought they may get more. Her lack of wanting help was so obvious. The lady stocking wine was enthralled in a phone conversation on her cell phone. It's no wonder this store is empty most of the times I go. This is a fantastic Fresh Market. I enjoyed browsing their flower section. This is one of their larger stores and it is much better than the smaller format. They have lots more variety and items to choose from. I was here to pick up some fill in items. I bought a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a really nice variety of dressings. The best part is the bakery. They have a huge selection. I love the freshness and the flavor. The only bad thing about this store is the parking. It is dreadful. It is very hectic and it is often hard to find a space. The shopping center is very busy and with this supermarket, it is craziness. I will still stop here when I am in the area. read more

Their sushi variety is very limited, the serving size is significantly smaller and more expensive than at their Doral location and the sushi chef attitude is very bad. The chef makes you feel that he is bothered by any questions. Their Bistro meals are also significantly more expensive than at their Doral location. Cash register staff were rude both times. On March 5 1982, Ray and Beverly Berry founded the first Fresh Market in Greensboro, North Carolina. The wanted to make a better grocery store based off of the markets they had visited in Europe. It was their aim to offer locally grown produce, fresh roasted coffee, meat and fish markets, a bakery, and fresh flowers. There are now 160 stores in 24 states. This Fresh Market is located in CityPlace Doral. CityPlace charges for parking but Fresh Market has their own free lot and free spots in the garage. This Fresh Market is a beautiful store. Everything is clean and bright. They have a large selection of prepared foods if you don't know how to cook or are too pressed for time. They have an excellent wine selection a lot of cool and unique products. If you have special dietary needs like vegan and gluten free they have you covered with an amazing assortment of products. I popped in for a drink and if money were no object I would shop at Fresh Market all the time. My main problem with the Fresh Market is that I think their prices are too high. Competition is steep in the grocery store sector and if you need to save money in your budget there are a lot of cheaper options but for those with dietary restrictions, Fresh Market can be a helpful option. read more

The downward spiral continues? Was there on Tuesday August 19th @ 12:30pm. 2nd floor garage, 8 spaces closest to store taken up by staff. I watched two male employees arrive, park and change into their uniforms in the garage? Lunch time and no one at the Panini counter. Only one lady at the prepared foods counter not being able to fulfill a simple order by a man speaking clear/basic English. Very few salads or proteins in the grab-n-go case (Sushi not an issue). Exact prepared sandwiches and quesadillas (not by weight) with different prices on them. Customers mulling about and complaining about trying to find anything quick and semi healthy. Wanted cottage cheese but only two options. Expressive and one all outdated. Bought some shrimp salad; it smelled like ammonia, I threw it out. This Fresh Market was great in its set up, I love the super cute outdoor seating on the second floor. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable allowing me to find everything I needed. My issue comes with the parking. When I go grocery shopping for a family of 5, one hour sometimes is impossible. I parked in their parking for less than 2 hours and when I get back there is a huge green sticker on my car! I am so troubled by the fact that I can't even show a receipt to anyone or anything to prove I was in the store, the sticker just got slapped on my car... because I took too long to grocery shop for my family?? This is such a cute grocery store! They have a great selection of everything. I went early in the morning and it was quite empty, which is great since I enjoy a more lax grocery shopping experience. Lots of organic choices in here for produce as well as other products. I was really impressed by the tea and coffee selection this store had. The bakery looks absolutely phenomenal, I tried their crème brûlée and was decently surprised for how good it was especially for a grocery store. This is definitely a good place to get some breakfast or lunch since there's a vast selection of ready made foods to choose from and even a seating area near the front of the store. I think this Fresh Market can benefit from a refresher on hygiene and cleanliness standards. My husband and I stopped by in the evening to pick up some last minute groceries. While the store is in a good location, has ample parking and an array of items we were left disappointed when it came to the bakery area. There was only one loaf of sourdough bread left and husband was adamant about having the bread sliced. We walked up to the baked goods section where we could hear an employee coughing and sneezing profusely behind the counter. After waiting about 5-10 minutes we were able to get their attention. The employee was visibly ill with a runny, red nose to boot. After seeing that I was ready to run for the hills but again my husband asked if they cut the loaf of bread. We handed it over to the employee who headed over to the slicing machine where they proceeded to open the plastic bag with the bread (without gloves). Realizing they had no area to place the bread, they then grabbed a bin on the counter and threw it on the floor and repeatedly kick at it. All the while, I was worried that my food was being placed on a dirty surface. Turns out that they were not trained on how to use the slicer and the bread ends up all over the floor. The employee comes over to us and apologized but they stated that they weren't even supposed to be in this area (???). I was super relieved that I wouldn't have to eat contaminated bread and we hightailed it out of there. All in all we were really disappointed with this experience. My husband works in the area and liked coming here for a quick lunch but I doubt he will again after this experience. Shame on this Fresh Market for placing an obviously very ill employee to work in an area where food is exposed to germs. Better training and more compassionate, understanding management is needed here. You're better off shopping at Whole Foods or Publix. read more

Passed by for pumpkin nut bread and the closest thing I found was pumpkin chocolate bread. Seeing as I've had both and tasted the difference, I didn't buy any bread. I did, however, buy a coffee mug and a lemonade. I'd have probably bought more items, but I had quite honestly gone to another Fresh Market the day before and gotten some things. This was a very spontaneous visit. And a one-sided one, too, at that. I came for one thing essentially and it wasn't there. Oh well. It's a seasonal item, it's to be expected. I'd probably have bought some Prosecco had I not been sick and if my house wasn't already full of it. The wine lady was very nice, even helping us locate other items outside the area. I love this fresh market. They always have parking, even though this is a busy plaza. They have some of the yummiest treats, I love all the chips, dried fruit etc they have as you walk in the door. My next stop is always the olive bar that you can't go wrong with! They have a great selection of bakery and deli items. Next up the fresh meat and seafood selection is top notch. Recently I've become addicted to coming here for sushi. They have an amazing budget friendly selection of sushi here. I'm extremely impressed with the quality they have and the selection!! I guess I should have stopped and taken photos of the actual place but I'm in my car rushing to eat and stopped here for something to eat and then ended up buying several items so for now, I'll talk about their sushi and a couple other things. I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of keto and gluten free and friendly foods they have as well. Cereals, sweets, cakes, breads, breakfast bars and the like. You can spend so much time just walking from aisle to aisle checking out all kinds of items you may have never seen before. Prices are of course at a premium. If you're just looking for regular name brand staple items then this place is not for you, as they don't carry much of those. They have a small area with hot food items for sale as well, and the baked goods look so delicious. I really liked the aisle with all kinds of coffee beans to choose from. The cashier wasn't that friendly/talkative but she was fairly quick. Parking is all around the store, out in the open, and under cover in the parking garage (which allows you to park there free for one hour). There's 2nd level parking too. I go here for the smoothies, juices, shots, a good meal either to-go or for when I grab a seat and rest for a little before leaving. If you want to shop for groceries, you can. They sell everything from produce, to organic meats, to wine, to bread, and a plethora of items to stock up your pantry. They also sell vitamins, super-foods, and many other nutritional needs. Who does not like The Fresh Market? Although it is more expensive than standard places where I normally do my food shopping (Walmart, Costco, Fresco). What I always like about these stores are they make you want to try different things, it makes you want to sample their food, it makes you want to cook. However, I always shop with price in mind - so I came here just to get a few essentials - white onions, green peppers and bread, as I was visiting the Cityplace of an evening. You can park right outside the store although there are only approx 20 places. However there is a huge parking garage next door - not sure if this is free at all? The location is right on the Cityplace entrance, so it is convenient like it was for me - to pop in for a few essentials if you are shopping or, eating, or bowling, or cinema watching. read more

Okay, here it is. I'm giving you one star for not honoring your hours of operations. If your hours of operation say 11pm, you should close at? 11PM! Not one minute more or less. Just 11pm. Why? Because your customer might be around the corner, and knowing that they have 10-5 minutes to grab a few things quick, and you're the ONLY supermarket by their office. So they chose to come to YOU. But instead they get here and all the doors are closed. And they film a video pointing out the fact you didn't honor the hours of operations. I know what your going to say, just a few minutes right? WRONG. Because this means that you are not creating a profile of reliability for your customer. And you're a relatively new supermarket in this area! You can't afford to do that. This is why Publix always wins. PUBLIX HONORS THEIR HOURS OF OPERATIONS, 100% always. No excuses. So yeah I do think you owe me and a few others that tried to go in an apology, and promise you WILL HONOR YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION even if yes... it's 5ish minutes before you close. BECAUSE I can do a lot in 5 minutes. Including writing this review. This is the closest Fresh Market to me and I love it! The market is always impeccably clean and their staff is very helpful. Although Fresh Markets can be a little on the pricier side, sign up for their emails and you can see all their weekly offers, which are great. I am especially thankful for them during this Covid crisis because their markets are so much more calmer/less people than the bigger places. By Sunday, I had to throw away half the items I purchased because they were expired or rotted. I should have checked expiration dates carefully at the store but assumed that the astronomical prices meant good quality - I could not be more wrong. Produce was rotted/moldy within one day. Milk turned. I am thoroughly disgusted. If you are a traveler needing some quick items, I guess this place might work but I would highly recommend Publix or Sedanos over this Fresh Market for groceries. First the parking here is awful, it's limited to a few spots in the front and the side and if not get ready to park further and further away. The Fresh Market has a lot of specialty items that you can't get in most other stores. I find that the selection is somewhat limited but hey they never promised to be a Publix. Prices are on the high side for most things. My complaint has been the quality of the deli section. I find most side dishes to be average or slightly below. They look great but then the taste aspect lets me down. The store is very clean and the staff is usually quite nice and helpful. I have noticed that sometimes you have to wait in line because not enough cashiers are active. I do recommend this place for an alternative lunch spot. read more

My only criticism is the fish counter lady did not speak a word of English. I asked multiple times what I was tasting and finally another customer pointed out the product. As a Miami native, I still want to encounter business employees who are at least bilingual. I have been to the other locations so many times that when I saw the sign that they were opening up a new fresh market in my hood last year I was ecstatic!!!! This location has free parking which is great because it's in the Doral City Center and it can get really busy at times. The staff are very welcoming and helpful when it comes to recommendations. The food! The bakery! The sushi ! The cheese ! Cookies Where do I start!!?!? The chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies are amazing! I also tried the lemon square and it was perfectly tart/sweet! I love all Fresh Markets. This location is one of the biggest I've been to. Parking is available in front of it or in the parking garage (complimentary). It's in a great location, right in the entrance of city place. Everyone here is very helpful and very nice. They have complimentary coffee you can sip on while you shop. They have great specials available for family meals and even have premade dishes and things you can pop in the over for a quick dinner. They have a great selection of produce and fruit. I also loved their selection of wine. I buy a lot of my groceries from their brand which I really like. I've been here about 4 times, I come by once a week most weeks.
