I also love that they carry beauty products at really good prices. The only downside is this location. It is always extremely busy, and shopping here really tests my patience because of the crowds. FAVORITE GROCERY STORE!! I firstly discovered TJs about 20 years ago in LA and fell in love with their concept, the minimalistic approach, prices and easiness to shop. Finding out there were a couple of TJs in the city when I moved to Miami from LA 2 years ago, was a lifesaver. I usually go to TJs for my weekly grocery runs and my freezer, fridge, pantry and even bathrooms are full of TJs products. For this store, parking is somewhat small but it's like any other TJ store. I actually found no problem getting in or out. The store is well stocked, with a good traffic but not overly crowded. Who doesn't love this place. They have so much variety of great foods you really need to just take your time and browse. My sister in law introduced me to a specific truffle cheese that only comes around the holidays so I rack up. It is so worth coming here when you find something you love. For me it's the cheese. They always have nice flowers at the entrance all reasonably priced - roses for 7.99 and carnations for 3.99. The wine selection is fantastic too. Today I was delighted to be accompanied by someone from the store who was quite knowledgeable and gave me a personalized wine education. All staff are fun, friendly and efficient. I had returned from a really bad experience from the Trader Joe's in Davie & my whole day was turned around. My shopping felt less stressful & hassle free, I even had a question that was very pressing & important for me to be answered. Alex was extremely professional, caring & seemed to genuinely look out for my best interest. I asked him if the bottles of Sicilian lime juice were out of stock or if they were seasonal item since I didn't see an empty lime juice section. He went ahead & checked to see if they had them, whether they were seasonal or not. Turns out, they are still selling them, they should've received the delivery today but for whatever reason, they still haven't. He told me they should be in tomorrow but to call in the store just to make sure they have them for my convenience. That made me feel a whole lot better. He was extremely professional, honest & really seemed to make sure I got the best of my shopping experience. And the main reason this means so much to me is because I am normally on-the-go so the bottles of lime juice make things easier in my routine. I am also trying to turn my health around due to the fact I am showing early symptoms of a family illness passed down by genetics, so this made a massive difference for me. He doesn't know that part, but that's why the lime juice was important for me. It is an essential part of a strict diet I am planning for, which will make juicing or prepping my detox waters a whole lot easier. I fully understand people have their own problems & want to be a$$holes to customers but in my case, I am juggling work, personal finances, budgetting & planning to turn my health around by preventing a family illness that made my mother vulnerable to other illness that eventually took her life. If you have never been to Trader Joe's, do yourself a favor and go! I am a huge fan of their products and prices which for produce, flowers and many pantry staples is cheaper than many of the local grocery chains. The flowers last longer than ones from a florist and come at less than a fraction of the price. You or your loved one can afford to pamper yourself(you) more often. Reasonable prices aren't the only attraction. They have an interesting selection of international foods and some quirky ones as with their other items is reasonably priced, but equally important-delicious. If you don't have the time to cook, their frozen food section has many great finds as well. Even if you do have time to cook, there are some great items that can be used as accompaniments as well. On the downside, you might find a product you really like, but they have rotated it out of their inventory as it may be seasonal , not popular enough to keep it in stock or due to supply chain shortages. This is true with many stores. So why is such a fan of TJ's rating the store with a 4 star rating and not a 5? I am basing this rating off the past two visits I have been to this location. Both times, though there were employees on the sales floor stocking items, none stopped to acknowledge me or any other shopper that I saw. Many were emotionless and hyper focused on stocking the items. Standing next to an employee and obviously looking for items with no, "May I help you find something." One item on my visit today had been discontinued, however, the label remained on the shelf. Oversights happen, that is not a problem. (If I am one thing, it is being positive) The rating definitively went down. I approached the cashier with a smile. I was surprised to see that the casher looked at me like a deer caught in the headlights when I walked up. He gave no greeting, no "hey", no smile, just that startled look. I was wearing a t-shirt that had a slogan on it by a local finance company, so it is nothing that was controversial or could be misconstrued. Multiple times while ringing up items in my cart, he continued to stare with that deer in the headlights look, At one point he looked at my face and made eye contact, but remained silent. He did speak at the end and gave a quick, "thank you", but was with that same emotionless blank stare. Needless to say, I felt somewhat uncomfortable. A simple," Hi. What does your shirt say? " would have been fine. There were so many missed customer service opportunities and the final potential access point really brought the idea home. Wow! I can't believe it's been nearly six years since I wrote my first review of Trader Joe's. It really feels like it just opened yesterday. I can only guess that's because I still get an excited flutter in my chest when a TJ's visit is in order. Now that I live a little closer, it's a regular (and my most favorite) grocery store trip of all for so many reasons. I could wax poetic about all the food items that are here. From organic produce and best frozen meals, to affordable yet delicious wines and a variety of cheese, they have it all and then some. By the time I make it to the checkout counter, my cart is overflowing and somehow it still comes out to less than my Publix bill for double the stuff. How is that possible?! The one downfall about this particular location can be the parking situation. If you come at peak times, it can be a bit of a mess making it in and out of the complex, but they always have someone to regulate. For that reason, I like to go during off hours which is now a weird concept because of... COVID-19. I had been avoiding grocery stores for weeks due to Coronavirus. Since you can't get Trader Joe's delivered, I decided to leave and check it out last weekend. I was SO impressed by the setup they have. I waited in a long line to get in that moved rather quickly. Everyone is required to wear masks and you cannot bring your own bags. While there, someone was passing out free water bottles and they have tents. Nice touch! As people left, they let others in and cleaned the used carts right way. In the store, it wasn't crowded so you could keep your distance AND the shelves were fully stocked (so refreshing!). There was another single file line to hit the cash registers and someone there directing you where to go. Overall, it was such a nice experience and the staff just as cheery and helpful as before. Who doesn't love refer joes?! This location is a busy one, but for the most part they have everything you need and are always well stocked! The staff is super friendly here and go above and beyond to thrill you find any product. This location is also very clean and always in theme with seasons/holidays. Truly enjoy escaping to this location for some alone time and grocery shopping. In terms of freshness of products at this location, I've never had an issue and both the meats and produce always look fresh and are well within expiration dates if applicable. The only downfall of this location is that's parking is a little small on very busy days, but during the week it's perfect! Overall a solid location and my go to! read more

I love shopping here. The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. I love the produce selections and the different variety of cheeses and meats are excellent for making charcuterie boards at home. I also love the frozen pork gyoza it's about $4 per bag and about 4 servings per bag, however I usually eat the entire bag in about two sittings because I love gyoza. And the gyoza dipping sauce is a perfect compliment to them. I love that Trader Joe's is affordable with a lot of healthy options. read more

I've been frequenting this Trader Joe's since they opened and I have to say, I always have the coolest shopping experience there! The store itself isn't that big but the employees are what really give it it's heart & soul. I just went yesterday to grab a few grocery items and picked up a basket, and as we all know, a shopping basket at Trader Joe's get full REAL QUICK! As I gripped onto my basket overflowing with goodies, from the corner of my eye I saw someone briskly walking towards me with an empty shopping cart and to my surprise, it was a TJ's employee coming to the rescue! I didn't get her name but she said, "I know you're strong but here, take this." I laughed & my heart was filled with joy, such a kind gesture! I do give them credit for hiring two parking directors/attendants to help point out open spots. i've been to this location several times with my dog. He's a 30lb trained french bulldog and just follows me around everywhere. he doesn't bark, he's extremely friendly and loves people. I had several customers AND trader joe employees comment on how well behaved and cute he is. halfway through with more than half of my cart full, one of the employees demanded I leave that instant for that there were customers complaining about my dog. I kindly asked if I can finish my groceries. he said no. i've had an employee give him a bag of treats for free in the past, just out of extreme friendliness from the staff. I was so excited to see this Trader Joe's open up. They validate parking in the garage, making it super convenient. I went a little crazy before the holidays buying tons of cheeses for a cheese board. The truffle cheese is a-MAH-zing. I'm so glad to have this new location. This week I picked up a bunch of pre made salads and frozen Indian dishes and happily enjoyed not cooking while I was on my own. This is the epitome of a hipster grocery store that makes you finetune the purpose of your life as you chomp away on that fried okra you got for like three bucks. Broccoli ? You know it's organic, boo. My pumpkin comes in shapes when I get my calabaza on at this spot. I love that everything's fresh, everyone's super nice, the food looks like it would resemble a high price but it's actually not, and of course...we can't forget the $3 wine. I feel like a boss when I throw like 15 bottles in my cart and do another roundabout in the cheese section just to make sure my blueberry goat cheese laced in vanilla is properly complimenting my wine selections. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Trader Joe's. I am obsessed with their sea weed chips and their produce select is always like going thru the candy isle for someone who loves to cook. There isn't anything you can't find here! My kids and I are always pleased to try new things. I highly recommend their Chinese fried rice from their frozen section. What fun place to shop. The produce, frozen food, coffee and wine selection is the best in town at a great price. The staff are all wonderfully professional and friendly. Making food shopping actually fun. Super manager Anne Bushy keeps things running smoothly. Parking sucks- so be patient and prepared to get a spot. But worth the wait. Always you leave with more items intended (derp). Last time I stumbled upon a TJ's Wood Fired Naples Style Uncured Pepperoni Pizza. Even the cashier guy said "Oh yeah you're really going to like that.. It's awesome" and you see his expression and you know you're in trouble with suspense. This pizza is succulent soft with a wonderful restaurant pizza aroma. OMG surprise flavor of the uncured pepperoni and its slightly spicy of red pepper flake juces melding with the wonderful cheese. Hands down the best frozen pizza, almost restaurant-like that is a cheap substitute at $5.00! Oh and makes for excellent left overs the next day as cold/room temperature especially munching and watching an online movie :^). For a place that doesn't have a lot of parking the place always has people. It's like a mini mart/market. They a wide variety of of select things if that makes sense. For example they have a variety of seafood, nuts, wine, flowers, desert etc. unlike a store that they have a little of everything. The prices aren't bad either. They also have things that isn't sold anywhere else such as cookie butter which is addicting by the way (I ate a whole jar in a few day). But let's just mention how good that is and the Mochi ice cream as well. I also like how they have paper bags it's cute. The cashier was nice. I just think the place is great in general. Parking can be a little stressful but there's parking towards the side and you can't try the back. Wouldn't recommend parking at the bk since they might try and tow your car. read more

Trader Joe's is just a wonderful place to shop at. It carries a Disney World feelskies. What I mean is that everyone here is happy not just the employees but the customers as well. Shopping at Trader Joe's is definitely a pleasure. Unfortunately here they are not big on house hold items and things of that sort so you still need to go to Publix, Walmart, or any other big box store such as these. Here at Trader Joe's they have a little of everything from American traditional, to Italian, to Indian, vegan, and whatever else your mouth craves. Trader Joe's is all fresh and farm to table. They always have great samples and many different wines to choose from. Trader joes is good for its own brand name foods, veggies, and of course the wine. I love coming here for their produce as well. Their produce is fantastic and always well priced. They have a variety of produce which includes organic fruits and veggies (no pesticides and what not). Better prices than Publix which is why I come here whenever I have to buy a lot of produce. I also come here for the meats which are also organic and fresh. Trader Joes is known for their own foods which are pretty delicious and fun to try. When they first opened I was so excited to try their cookie butter. I also love all their different flavored jams. They also have cheap cheap cheap wines which are tasty especially for the price. Trader Joes is also very festive. Any time the season changes their store changes along with it. The merchandise also changes according to the season. If you have known me for a while, you know that I was the biggest Trader Joe's hater for years. I worked for a competitor and thus had blinders on for how great shopping here can really be. Literally, I would give people tremendo descarga if they shopped here. I am sorry. I'm so sorry. Fast forward a few years and I LOVE Trader Joe's! Why? It's convenient, it's affordable, and it's fun to shop for a party of 1. They have so many pre-cut veggies that make eating healthy a breeze, at a price that definitely doesn't break the bank. I also love that their selection rotates weekly. Sure it can get annoying when you fall in love with their frozen spaghetti squash featuring butternut squash and a harvest red sauce, but you'll find something new to replace that void. Most likely, this something new will be under $5. Regular obsessions in my TJ's rotation: - Chili Lime Turkey Burgers - Cauliflower Gnocchi - Marinara Sauce - Cauliflower Stir Fry - Organic Chicken - Cooked Lemon Pepper chicken breast - All the cheese - Flowers - Spaghetti Squash cut in a bag *life changing* And I haven't even started on the WINE SELECTION! It's vast, and it's hella cheap. They've got some great brands and wines that meet the $20+ mark but they also have some really lovely every day wines for under $10. It does get extremely packed on the weekends, so I like to go during the week. But even when it's crazy, they have pretty good organization in the parking lot to help you find parking and get your shopping on. I wish there were more locations in Miami, but based on the prices and variety I will continue to visit. Shout out to Gail in the wine section for regular recs that keep my wallet happy.
