This Aldi is always clean and stocked. I love the new self checkout lanes, but the only thing that makes Aldi flow well is the double buggy thing at checkout. When you're scanning your stuff at self checkout you don't have the second cart to put your scanned items in. Luckily my husband was with us and was able to grab a second cart while I was scanning. Aldi's you so clean and stocked up today! These shelves are bussin at the seams, literally about to spill in the aisles. Food is everywhere, as it should be. I love it. Although, it's Thanksgiving season, Christmas is all in the air with good deals everywhere. You remodeled so we can check ourselves out? I see you! Aldi has some great deals and some not so great deals. I guess that I have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with all the. Again, they do have some great deals. However, it is rather aggravating that there is often long lines and they do not even have a landline to call to inquire if they have something or even if they are open. They do have good prices on their bread products. And the bread is surprisingly good. If you're in the area, go check them out. Maybe you will find a good deal. Or maybe the line will be too long and you just don't have time to deal with it. Oh yeah, don't try to call to see how long that line is. They don't have a landline. This is perhaps the reason I have that love-hate relationship with Aldi. read more

This was my first time at this location. I was able to get in and locate the items I needed to purchase. I really like the seafood here at Aldi - the steelhead trout is amazing! Unfortunately, they didn't have any but I purchased some coho salmon , which was amazing! It cooked up really nicely. Great flavor! I must say that I was a little disappointed in the produce department. It seem to be lacking. Oh well , this was still a decent Aldi visit. Even though my Aldi bag now has a hole in it. I would come to this location again when in the area. read more

I shop at this Aldi frequently. I am happy they have implemented some coronavirus prevention procedures. 1. They have one and sometimes two workers wiping down carts with disinfectant wipes and passing them out to customers as they come in. No quarter needed for the cart. 2. They are only allowing a certain amount of customers in at a time. 3. They have tape markers letting you know where to stand to comply with social distancing when waiting to go in the store as well as waiting to checkout. 4. They have installed plastic barriers between the cashier and customer. The cashiers and other workers were all wearing masks. This all helped alleviate some of my anxiety about going out in these trying times. Thanks, Aldi! read more

I am so disappointed that I have to update my review from what was a four star review, but today's experience really shed a light on what kind of people there are in this world. Smh....this is one of my go to grocery chains for years to get great deals on produce. I had bought a cantaloupe, a three pound bag of oranges, half a pound of asparagus, 5 avocados, cheese, a large bag of kale, and a bag of tomatoes.....ELEVEN items, and the young man at the checkout had the nerve to ask me, "Do you want to keep your cart?" What kind of a question is that? If I bought one or two items, then maybe no. I bought ELEVEN items?! As anyone who shops at Aldi knows, they do not provide bags for your groceries so this guy wanted me to somehow CARRY 11 things without any bags to my car. I asked him how he expected me to do that without a cart I PAID for? If you don't know, you have to pay $0.25 for a cart then return it when you are done to get your quarter back. So no...I was not just pushing a cart around that I paid for just for fun? I paid for it...so I could use it....He apologized saying he was just asking. I don't need an apology from you. I want to know how you expect me to carry 11 heavy items to my car without a cart??? He couldn't find a solution. ‍ read more

I love shopping at Aldis they have a variety of off-brand products and a few brand name products. The prices are always low so I know I will get more for my money when I shop here. I always check out there specials and limited offers in case I'm interested on those products. There are times that some things may be out of stock but this store does pretty well in keeping most stuff in stock. The store is also very clean and organized. I try to always find empty boxes before I check out since they do not bag your products or end up paying for a bag. read more

Went to this store today for a small run to get some item for chicken pot pie and they have really upgraded the place. It use to be cluttered but now it's full of light and it seems cleaner to me. Great job Aldi. read more

Yesterday i went to the Fultondale Aldi's which i do often. Had quiet a bit of groceries & the cashier ask me (when almost completed ringing up my gro.) How was I paying. Said check, her reply was "we don't accept checks" this is not my usual but had left my debit card with my son for personal reasons. I said "How awful, i am so disappointed, but thats all i can do so guess someone has to go put them up & walked out". If you are not accepting checks why don't you have a BIG sign on your front door & also at the registers? Thankfully Winn Dixie was only a few jumps away. My time wasted, your employee having to put groceries back & your cashier having to void my items. Guess from now on I'll just go to WalMart. Very frustating. read more

Same as most Aldi stores that I have visited, with generally friendly and fast service. Cleaner store than a couple that I have been in, but it is also newer. Of course, the prices are the draw...because they are cheaper than just about anywhere you can go! read more
