None of it makes sense to me. My main gripe is that I came on Sushi Wednesday around 6pm, hoping for an easy, cheap dinner. I located the sushi and picked out what looked good to me, only to find out at the register that what I selected was not included in the $5 promo. Apparently they had sold out and all the $5 options were gone. I didn't realize this, as nothing was marked with the discount, so I just assumed all that was left was included. Btw, what was left was all california rolls, not even anything with salmon/tuna. Just a general gripe about grocery stores nowadays: I do not want to do self check out. The store is located off a main street near an exit from I-20. Very convenient. The store was bright, neat, orderly, clean and smelled pleasant. The shelves were well stocked and nothing out of place. The cashiers greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I went in the evening around 8pm. I was looking for chicken thighs, sausages and smoked meat. The south has the best smoked meat. Honestly this store has items that other stores don't have like Publix and Kroger. The meat clerk was actually putting out fresh meat in the evening. That is a plus and rare. The meats were so pretty. Hard to explain. If I had time I would have really shopped in this store. I would definitely return. Management you are doing a great job with your store.

The deli had hot meals as well as grab & go items. There were several people in line at the deli for hot meals. This was my first time visiting Foodland but if I'm ever in the area , I would visit here again.
