Conveniently located on Dawsonville Highway next to Home Depot.

YET ANOTHER ALDI! I love that no matter where I am, I am likely to find an Aldi where I can easily run in and get exactly what I need. They are a very manageable size so that you don't feel overwhelmed as you might in a Walmart and with their predictable layout, shopping is quick and easy. Like any store, you really have to know what you can and cannot purchase here. If you are a chip person, they have a great selection of chips that are very affordable. Most importantly, they are not as salty as the major brands. For example, my favorite chip is the blue corn chip which has only 70 mg of sodium. They also have low sodium potato chips available as well. I love their nut bars which are actually nut bars with no added sugar. They are a delicious snack and virtually guilt-free. I really appreciate Aldi offering healthier alternatives and more organic choices. They are constantly introducing new items and that is always exciting. I have enjoyed purchasing their Greek yogurt which is very low in sugar, but has a nice richness. Obviously when it comes to the packaged items, simple is better: pasta, beans, brown rice, light mayo, mustard etc. The fresher the better and you also get to control the sodium! You can purchase fresh meat, (chicken, beef, pork) here and they do offer organic options. I highly recommend the wings and ribs which are my family's favorite. The center cut chops are very nice as well especially if you grill them. However, I do wish they would have ground breast meat available because this is what I use to make my turkey burgers. When it comes to proteins, they do have frozen options including seafood available as well. I have tried their bean and veggie burgers and while they have a good flavor, they are way too high in sodium for my taste. Of course, you can't beat the price for their staples such as eggs, milk, reduced fat cheese and butter and I really appreciate them offering the 1% milk because it doesn't seem to be very popular but is our personal favorite. At one point, I was once a fan of their frozen fruit for smoothies but realized that I get a better quality product if I just freeze my own very ripe fruit. It is much sweeter this way. They tend to offer promotional items from time to time so you really have to be watchful and check every aisle. I remember when they offered a very high quality almond flour but did not continue it for some reason. It is great for gluten-free/paleo diets and what I prefer to use i in my turkey burgers, potato/zucchini pancakes and meatloaf instead of bread or flour. Hopefully, they will bring it back! I love their thin crust whole grain frozen pizzas that feature a white Alfredo sauce, chicken breast and spinach. This is one of those items that they do not carry on a consistent basis so you really have to be watchful and stock up when you get a chance. The produce section is always my favorite because I love their sweet oranges, mixed peppers, tomatoes, avocados, cauliflower, broccoli heads and spinach, (kept in the fridge). The quality is great and the prices simply cannot be beat! Sometimes, you have to exercise a bit of patience at the checkout because of longer lines but their cashiers are fast and efficient and always warm and friendly. If you haven't checked them out, you are really missing out!

The greens are amazing and absolutely delicious. The farm grows, cultivates and sells all of them not to mention fresh eggs and other things as well. This was my very first visit but my friends has bought greens from Circle A for some time and will not buy here lettuces anywhere else. And now I feel the same way after seeing their lettuces and greens. They have: Bibb lettuce, Micro-greens, Arugula, Romaine, Mixed Greens etcetera. The pricing wasn't to terrible for what you are buying and because it's grown Hydroponic, it's well worth it!! Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of pricing which was their cooler door. Next time for sure. Also loved where it's located, off a country road which gave it all the charm needed for growing their lettuces and the cute Farm House which is nice and clean inside not to mention orderly.

I've eaten a lot of pie over the years, homemade, fresh baked from a bakery and from the freezer, this peach pie was one of the best peach pies I have ever ever ever eaten hands down. The crust and lattice work was amazing, the pie was loaded with larges slices of peaches folded into a slight tart filling and for me the most impressive feature of the pie besides the taste was the texture of the fruit which was still relatively firm instead of being mushy like you get in some fruit pies. I am definitely a fan of this bakery and fortunately for me I have a camping trip planned next month in very close proximity to them and will absolutely pay them an in person visit to see what other goodies they have to offer and to fill my freezer. Southern Baked Pie Company is definitely a company you should try...

For the sake of honesty, let me start by saying my initial experience with the Gainesville store…read morewas not awesome. BUT... Management made it right and I sincerely appreciate that effort even though I didn't expect or ask for anything like that to happen. The director of operations went above and beyond and it says a lot about a company when their upper management actually cares that much about one customer's experience. All I wanted was to make a listing error known after what I thought I ordered turned out to be something completely different. My issue was more than fixed by the DoO personally bringing me the pot pie I'd thought I'd ordered as well as a full sized key lime pie; and I'm so appreciative of the effort put forth to make things right. It was completely unexpected but a beautiful gesture just the same. With that said... My thoughts on the food? Cons: I do think it's a bit pricey for a pot pie or a pie in general. The filling needs to be a bit thicker. It was a tad too runny. Pros: Can I make a great pot pie from scratch at home? Yes. Did I have time to do that this week? No. Is mine as good as theirs? Filling wise? Maybe, however theirs did have a very nice flavor. But their crust is FABULOUS! And just so happens to be the best part of a pot pie, in my opinion and I humbly admit, in that realm, they have me beat by miles. We got the frozen, take and bake, which was super convenient. Directions were easy to follow. Just remove the plastic wrap, pop in the oven on 400 for 30 minutes and then lower temp to 375, bake again for an additional 50-60 minutes. Leaving me without having the usual mess I create when I make my own pot pie and after an incredibly busy Monday-Wednesday, I was so grateful! The key lime pie... all I can say is WOW!! I'm not a dessert baker and don't really eat dessert often but I could make an exception for that pie, ANY TIME!! It was just the right balance of tart and sweet, and so creamy! I also loved, even though this is probably an unpopular opinion, that they didn't cover the pie in meringue. Over all, initial error/experience aside, I'm very happy with the food and its quality, as well as the business ethics of the company as a whole. Would I do it again? Yeah, I think I would. It's a healthier option than fast food and even with the price being a bit high, I think it's worth it.
