my order was not delivered to me but to another person. Aldi sent me a text indicating the order had been delivered . I called the help line and after much discussion, the customer service person promised to credit me for the missing order, then replace it with the same products, and deliver it to my home in the evening. The evening came and went and there was no delivery, and after more phone conversations they promised the ordr for this morning. This morning I have received texts moving the deliver to progressively later times, and after complaining of this, customer service tried to reach the shopper but there was no response. I had never been to ALDI before visiting this location! My wife was a big fan from years back and was excited when she discovered that this ALDI existed. I went myself a few weeks back and overall had a really good experience. First, for amateurs like me, you have to deposit a quarter into your cart to detach it from the other carts so you can go shopping. So make sure you have a quarter on hand! The selection is pretty interesting - there are a lot of brands that are totally unknown to me, but they're actually pretty darn good and VERY affordable! I can usually find most of the items on my shopping list, but there will inevitably be some stuff that is missing if you demand a certain name brand :) The veggies and fruit tend to be pretty high quality, and the meat is excellent. The checkout experience is kind of interesting. The cashier takes your groceries out of your cart and puts them into the previous person's cart, so you end up taking that person's cart back to the cart corral and giving the cashier your cart for the next person. Kind of confusing, but will make sense once you've been through the process once :) Most importantly, after you're finished shopping, you can take that cart back to the cart corral, reattach it to the other carts, and get a replacement quarter for next time! Anyway, my wife and I will definitely be back here because of the low prices and high quality. read more

This is a fairly new location. It's located in the heart of Hamilton township, right off route 33. I have been to this location multiple times and I really enjoy shopping here. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Out of all the Aldi locations I have shopped before this the most organized one. Majority of stock is up on shelves and easy to navigate. We've come upon a new age of economy shopping. I haven't been to an Aldi in many years and almost forgot the experience. This isn't your typical neighborhood grocery store. Here's what you need to know---- Always have a quarter with you to get a shopping cart. The quarter releases the cart from the chain which holds them at the front of the store. That way, there are no carts left in the lot. You need to bring the cart back to get your quarter. You won't find many name brands, just a few. Most of the items are private label brands possibly manufactured by a major food producer. Prices are much lower than Acme, Wegmans and Shop Rite. Even lower than member only big box stores such as BJ's and Costco. In some cases, the prices are 50% lower. Great prices on baked goods and produce. Not a large variety, but certainly a place to pick up the basic essentials. When it comes to check out, bring your own bags. Otherwise you need to purchase plastic or paper. You also can't bag your groceries while being checked out. You put your groceries in your cart and move to the "bagging table" located near the storefront window. I consider Aldi as a supplemental grocery store, but not the primary. read more

Don't go too close to closing because they will ask you to stop shopping and leave. Even if you have started. I was just about to put something in the cart and I was told to turn around and leave. I got my quarter back and looked up to see several people inside the store still shopping. Sidenote: I thought she was saying welcome to aldis from the end of the aisle, but she was so far away, so I looked up and pushed the cart closer to hear her, instead she was walking towards me shaking keys telling me I had to leave. I have been grocery shopping here for 2 months and I am shocked each time at the value and savings. The food is generic I am glad I gave it a try. Most of the knock offs I have tried all hold up to the brand names. They have cookies that are just like girl scout cookies but cheaper and more volume. I still get some things at Acme or Shop Rite but the prices at Aldi' s are amazing. I would easily spend 150 at the other stores each week and now I spend 65 a week. I wish I knew about this place years ago as I would have saved a ton of money. Also the food is always current and not expired as I have experienced at the other stores. read more

This a a great store to stop by and pick up healthy food items! I focus mostly on produce and dairy and have found everything to be great. To name a few items: Cara Cara Oranges, Honey Crisp Apples and a great multi colored pepper pack! I am so happy we have a new option in Hamilton. read more

Aldi is a chain but when you're shopping here, you don't feel like you're shopping at one. It is spacious with wide aisles, they monitor how many people are shopping at any given time and once you enter, you will notice there is plenty of space so that you can maintain distance with other shoppers who were honoring social distancing protocol. I made a standard grocery list and was surprised that I found almost everything I was looking for except for a couple of baking items that were probably out of stock because of the holidays. Their prices are incredible- definitely cheaper than other stores. Their produce section was well stocked and more importantly organized. They sell their own brand and some mainstream brands as well. I especially like their selection of block cheeses and was impressed to find that they sell a lot of faux meat options which I really appreciate such as faux meatballs and veggie burgers. While you might find more variety at other places, I encourage you to give this place a chance. Maybe you'll like the items here more? Their staff was working hard restocking shelves etc. and were so pleasant. They are working on the frontlines and this can't be easy on them which is why it's important to show our appreciation.
