Visited Johnson's Farm this past fall in the late afternoon / early evening. What a cute spot to…read morecelebrate fall! Most things were closed down by the time I arrived (would love to visit earlier in the day next season), but we were still able to walk around and explore their pumpkin display, shop in the home decor store, and try some treats from their market. The pumpkin displays were lovely and perfect for a photo op. The home decor store had such adorable and seasonal items, all at fairly affordable prices. The market offered a number of treats made on-site or locally. Of course, they have their apple cider donuts (delish!) and a variety of apple ciders (particularly liked the sparkling cider option), but also a lot of breads, locally made more savory items, other beverages, candies, etc. Truly something for everyone! It wasn't too cold, so we enjoyed a donut and our cider outside on their many benches for guests. This was a pretty quick visit, but we hit all the highlights! I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the day (I'm sure it's a popular spot for field trips). Regardless, I would love to revisit during the day to experience more festivities and see Johnson's in full swing. Thanks for the fun fall outing, Johnson's!

However, I do like coming here for flowers. They usually have a good selection at very fair prices and the stems last longer than the grocery store. I bought some potted plants here once but was sad to see they died literally within 24 hours. I would stay away from the potted plants - they must be very stressed out. They accept cards which is nice but cash is preferred here. Very no frills inside, but ample parking with a Dollar General next door.

I was absolutely horrified, embarrassed and frightened. Without hesitation you were there to see if I needed any medical attention. You brought me a chair and asked if I wanted any water. During all this, my gas tank, which was compromised, was pouring gas out onto the parking lot. The officer doing his job, jumped into "what happened?". The fire department came, did their job very well, but never approached me as you did. Your kindness and heartfelt care truly helped to give me a feeling of warmth during a truly stressful time. I was pleasantly surprised to see AN ACTUAL BUTCHER shop in my area, so I stopped in to check it it…read moreout. I almost passed the place, because it is easy to miss, but I am glad I found it. At first, I was just happy to see some interesting and useful veggies and delicacies (Italian, Spanish and other nationalities). But, as I went to the rear of the store, I saw an old fashioned, honest to goodness butcher. There wasn't a ton of stuff in the case, like my former big Italian Butcher shop in NYC, but as we chatted I was to be pleasantly surprised. They were very accommodating. They are even going to get in some whole dried hot chili peppers I have been looking for. I was told by Fabio, the butcher, that they make their own sausage and other items, without chemicals or additives. I asked if there was any possibility of getting a cut of pork neck meat that I used to get in NYC that cooked up like veal cutlets. He brought out some neck meat, and we could see it was too narrow. I asked if it was possible it had been butterflied. He tried it, and it was exactly what I was looking for! So I got my 5 cutlets, the price was great, and was I elated. (Whenever I cooked them, people always said they were the best veal cutlets they ever had because they were so moist and have no grizzle. Of course, I would fess up eventually, lol.) I asked if he might be able to make stuffed veal roasts and other types of roasts, and chicken rollatini. He said he could make whatever I wanted!! He told me if he didn't already know how, that If I told him what I wanted he would either do what I suggested, or research how it should be done. I struck pay dirt with this place! There was some nicely marbled rib eye temptingly displayed right in front of me, that I eventually decided to take. Heck, I was sitting there looking at it the whole time, and it was only $6.99 a lb. He trimmed it as I asked before weighing, and cut it to the thickness I asked for. Of course, like any butcher, they have all sorts of goodies in the back. I will absolutely be back... I can't believe I didn't know the place was there. They've been open 7 months. You gotta try this place.

I come here mostly for nostalgia, I used to go to them in Germany all the time. Just like in Germany, they sell good quality items for a very reasonable price. Their goldfish doesn't taste as good as actual goldfish, and they are also called turtles. Lol! But when its 2/3 the price and usually larger too, who cares lol! I usually come for their German stuff, red cabbage, gravies, pretzels, German pastries. Especially their German stuff for Christmas! I love stollen and cookies and everything like that. They also have a ton of weekly specials, so check them out every week, you never know what they have. Its pretty clean, no major issues, as long as its not too packed its easy to navigate the aisles. My biggest issue is they never order enough stuff... so they run out decently fast for popular items. I believe they get shipments every day, but still they sell out fast! I get why, much smaller footprint, they pass the savings onto us. All in all, good food, great prices, come do your grocery shopping here!

Tried using a sharp knife and had to physically use a ton of force and sawing motion just to be able to get a piece off. So very disappointed. The inside of the sandwiches were delicious but we couldn't eat them like a sandwich and we love bread. Almost broke our teeth. I have never had a roll so hard before. Could only eat the insides. I'm not sure that we would ever try it again.
