I've been going for years after a friend brought me some I was hooked I like most use to think cider is cider was I wrong. It takes me well over an hour but so worth it ! You have all sorts of apples to pick, or apple pies to eat - I got a crumb one and enjoyed every last bite over the last 2 days. Because a pie that good isn't gonna sit long. If I lived closer, I'd be sampling their cider (on a routine basis of course) and make sure to always check what they're cooking next. Bonus points to the woman behind the counter who was very patient as I perused the pies and everything else to decide what I want. (Slight deduction for potassium sorbate in the cider. I know it's relatively ubiquitous but would vastly prefer the fresh cider without it - I can drink a gallon that fast! But I get it.)

There is drinking water and a flush toilet on site for campers to use. They also do different yoga classes lead by Em Keen either in or outside based on the weather. They have a yoga platform in the Meadow, which is amazing. Chris has her own art studio beautiful art that is for sale. Alan makes all different types of sourdough breads, cookies, rolls, pies, and bagels. They also sell their own honey and eggs from their many chickens. You can order on his website. I went September 2023 for their second ever mind-body wellness retreat. It was an amazing 24 hours. A friend and I went to celebrate my birthday. We started out with a tour of the beautiful farm led by Alan. We then had our first class which was yoga, led by Em. we took a little break for lunch, which was homemade soups in homemade sourdough bread bowls made by Alan. We then had a little bit of relaxation time and time to mingle with each other before having a Qigong lead by Paul Zegarac - this was great and extremely interesting. A practice I've never tried before. We then had a mindfulness class back out on the yoga platform in the Meadow, led by Em. we then spent time with other retreat members just visiting before making our own homemade stone oven pizzas made with Alan's homemade sourdough pizza dough. They had a lot of toppings for us to choose from. for a last class of the day we had a sound bath, which was extremely relaxing and led by Mary Conley - as the sun was setting. To end our day we had a closing ceremony around a bonfire, which was just so emotional and memorable. We made s'mores the fire before going to bed. The next morning, Alan and Chris made us French toast buffet breakfast with two different kinds of homemade compote with yogurt and granola , and even some of their honey from their farm. Going to Flannel Dog Farm was an awesome experience, and I look forward to returning!

SIMPLY AMAZING!! I…read moremust begin by saying that since I don't consume pork over the last several years I've explored and tried just about every producer of beef bacon you can come up with. I've been consistently disappointed with all of them. The meats were either tough, chewy, too salty, lacked the smoked flavor they claimed and worst but not least they ALL had either sodium nitrite added or the celery juice salt which we now know has nitrate capabilities. These folks were the ONLY one's that did NOT apply any nitrates which was comforting to begin with....but wait! My first impression when I opened the package that had 4 sealed packages of their beef bacon was that there was MORE than the typical single serving from others I'd ordered from. 2nd was that there was little to no fat present when others sliced it in a way that often as much as half the slice was pure fat. NOT what I felt I paid for. The NaKyrsie sealed products revealed thicker slices then I'd ever seen. I was excited to give it a try. Just placing several slabs on a paper plate and covering with some paper towel pieces and then cooking in my microwave for a mere 2 minutes gave me a perfectly cooked grouping of slabs that were, for the 1st time ever, NOT chewy or tough. The flavor is superb, not over salted with that clear smoked flavor that comes through. I'm beyond happy. NaKyrsie now has a permanent customer and I'll be ordering on a regular basis. May even try some other meats while I'm at it. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed to be sure!

The lavender sheet spray I have used on both my sheets and pillows AND my kiddos to give them a relaxing spa like sleep. The bunches of fragrant lavender I purchased will scent my drawers to take me to a relaxed state of mind (even if it's just my yoga pants for working at home) and the culinary lavender made the BEST lemonade. Today is their last open day for the season but remember they have a website to order products from - you will miss walking around the grounds and finding great lil picnic spots but next summer hopefully the festival will resume (and COVID gone). The family who owns this farm was amazingly flexible with all the regulations and changes this summer and my family and I felt safe AND refreshed.
