Walking past numerous hot dog carts, I couldn't help but think how good a New York dog sounded. Just then, I noticed Green Gorilla Kitchen. There were numerous options, featuring both a set and daily special menu. For vegan food in the city, the prices at Green Gorilla Kitchen were relatively inexpensive. My chili cheese dog was bursting with flavor! The hot dog came topped with chili, cheese, and onions, all stuffed into a soft pretzel bun. The cut and preparation of the fries made them the perfect accompaniment to the hot dog. Making this experience even more enjoyable, the employees of this food truck were helpful, hard-working, and extremely friendly! I definitely plan on returning during my next trip to the city!

I had the plantain bun with the beyond burger, it was amazing! The plantain burger comes with a different patty/burger, so I made a substitution. The sauces are great. Everything they serve is non GMO except for the Impossible burger which is made using genetically modified yeast. They have a their own burger (which I heard tastes great), the beyond burger (which I had and tasted great) and the Impossible burger which is GMO and tested high for glyphosate so personally, I wouldn't eat that one.
