We trekked out a decent way from Jesup to give this place a try. The atmosphere was quant and cozy. The food was decent. It was somewhat flavorful, but not anything spectacular. The portion sizes were solid though. The waitresses were helpful and attentive enough, albeit unenthusiastic. It was later in the evening, so maybe they had just checked out for the night. When we were done, we went up to pay and it was about eight dollars more than we thought it was going to be, factoring in tax. We got a receipt, but it wasn't broken down into what we actually purchased. When we don't even get to see a bill until we go up, it would be nice to know exactly what we we're paying for. One taco, one burrito and one 12.99 dish with two waters seemed a little pricy for over $40. It seems to be the only game in town, hence some added popularity. While it was a decent option if you're in the area, we probably won't be back. read more

We went to lunch with friends after church today, and the food was marvelous. I had the chimichanga stuffed with ground beef, with guacamole salad and refried beans. My wife had the burrito lunch plate. Both meals were phenomenal. Reasonable prices, and excellent service! read more

This was our first time here. The reviews looked promising. Their salsa got pretty good reviews. Honestly, the food here is OK, but lacking any real flavor. As for the salsa, it's pretty ho hum. The food just lacked any Mexican flavor. Service was good and portions large for the money. The restaurant was clean with some pretty nice Mexican style tables in the main area. This was delicious! The meat was cooked perfectly and wasn't dried out, as well as it tasted delicious too! What would make these tacos even better would be some dipping sauce for them! We also enjoyed the churros that were so yummy! The grilled chicken for the kid's meal was perfectly cooked as well. My husband loved the steak fajita nachos! read more

Generally I have really enjoyed this place. However, when they get busy and have to use the back room. The customers are forgotten about went there today. We were told to got sit in the back and not even escorted. Waited 10 mins and no one came. My wife went to ask for menus they said they are coming. We had no drinks or anything. Nearly 10 more mins later I am standing up hoping someone would notice. Nothing! We then just walked out. I am not sure when I will be back. read more

The food was cold and nasty and expensive don't come here it is not worth your time and money

I went here late on a Saturday night after working at the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival which was held at the farmer's market pavilion area where they normally process and pack a lot of Vidalia sweet onions during the season, which is now. Glennville is in the biggest sweet onion producing county in the nation. Alejandro's is right next to the farmer's market and apparently hasn't been open but a few months. There aren't many restaurants around, so I'm sure this is a recently welcomed choice for the workers at the onion processing building and the area in general. The owners of Alejandro's are Spanish-speaking and welcoming. My waitress was hispanic, but communicated well and was very nice and patient while answering questions and being accommodating. The fresh salsa was above average as were the chips. It was made even better with the addition of some extra cilantro that I asked for. The small guacamole side was a creamy version that was pretty good. They had a 3 tamale special, but sold me one, per my request, which I enjoyed. I got a very reasonably priced combo with a chicken and beef enchilada, chile releno and refried beans. The refried beans were tastier than most versions. The enchiladas were a bit disappointing in that they were just plain chicken or their ground beef mixture inside a flour tortilla with a decent sauce on top, but very little cheese or flavor inside. The chilé seemed undercooked and too crunchy and I wasn't very fond of the beef filling, but it wasn't bad. I thought it also came with some rice, but it didn't. My waitress was sweet to bring me some though, at no extra charge. The whole meal was only around $10-12, I forget exactly, but it was a good value. So, if I was passing by, and in the mood for some Mexican cuisine, I would perhaps stop by again. read more

This place is fantastic!! Wow! Food was so fresh and delicious. My fiance and I both ordered a shrimp dish (Shrimp Diablo and Mojo de Ajo), the portions are great and the taste was amazing.
