Hubby and I came here twice while in town for a wedding. Thankfully it was good food seeing how there really wasn't any other sit down places around. The food was good both times. The service was better the second time around. This is your typical Mexican place with a busy atmosphere. The only reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had no tequila list, the menu didn't have the margarita flavors or prices, I don't recall if the menu even listed the beers they had. Food came out in shifts. They brought out pork dish of which it did not say that on the menu. Sent back they offered to get something else exclaiming the menus were old. I had ordered the lunch special. Then they brought the enchilada without the rice and beans. The manger on duty made the choice for me no rice or beans. The waitress stated they were going to charge us for the lunch build your combo even though I did not get the rice and beans. Waitress then came back and I questioned her about beans and rice and was going to have her go get beans and rice in a to go box when she stated she was only going to charge us just for the enchiladas. Word to the wise don't eat here unless you have plenty of time for shift food. You better question everything on the menus if they are wrong. We will not patronize this restaurant again! This spot is a new restaurant in Baxley, GA. From my understanding it just opened up a few weeks ago and this is my second time here. The first time I had their chili verde and it was delicious. The seasoning was amazing and I added in grilled chilies. Tonight we had their guacamole with chips and it was very good. We tried three chicken tamales that were topped with beef and they were very moist and had great flavor. We ordered the fajitas for two and it could have served four people. All and all I would give this place a 4.8 out of 5.0 so far. I would want to eat here one more time and it might go to 5 out of 5. The restaurant is really clean/modern and the service on both occasions was very good. I would recommend this to everyone in the area and I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did. okay gotta be honest- I've come back 3 times because I really want to like this restaurant! The restaurant is beautiful, comfortable and is really the only thing that draws me in! The food was okay but the service was soooo bad! Every single time I left unhappy and Saturday my last visit we just walked out! After sitting there 15 min and not getting even a glass of water or a nod. My husband complained because two tables after us walked in and were already addressed by the waitress and their drink orders were on their tables. We were just sitting there- la la la- so the hostess brought us chips, took our drink order and left. The other two tables not only had drinks but one had cheese dip and the other had a now onto drinks and Queso dip and the quesadilla appetizer! What?!! We had finished our bowl of chips and were so thirsty and still not even water was delivered which we asked for! We told the hostess, "you know what? We don't even have water yet and walked out." Ridiculous! No they were not super busy- it was about 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon- There were two servers for our little area we were in and they both had two tables no party bigger then four... No excuses! The ambiance and mediocrity of food can only carry a place so far! We won't be back. read more

Went for the first time on 11/21/23, i wish I could remember our servers name because he was great. We were in & out in less than an hour. We had the queso with chorizo as an app, it was great. For entrees we had a burrito & the quesabirra tacos. The only thing I can complain about is one of the tacos had only fat in it. read more

Waitress was friendly but was pressured to order food before we received the cocktails we ordered. That being said, if u want alcohol n ur cocktail then bring ur own alcohol to add to it. Today was my fourth trip to this new location in our area. My previous experiences were overall good. Food very good, prices fair. Customer service & cleanliness appears to weaken with each trip. Today especially, I opened my menu to find smeared food from previous customer - I wiped this off dismayingly & ordered. My food was good. Before we completed eating the waitress was back to ask if we were ready for our bill. I said not at this time. She was back within minutes with our bill. As I was completing my beverage a busboy began clearing our table. I asked if I could have a to-go cup, apparently he spoke no English because he did not understand my request. At that point I saw a management team member partially stand up & look in my direction. I repeated my request & stated I felt as if I was been rushed from my table. Note: only two other tables were occupied in the building & this was within posted operations hours. The management team member looked at me with puzzlement. I told him it really was quite insulting to be treated in this manner. I will patronize the numerous other Mexican style restaurants in town who do treat their customers respect fairly. read more
