Robert Hammond (one of the owners) used vulgar language and even resorted to name-calling when I notified him that Sussex County failed the footing inspection. Robert's lack of respect and professionalism made the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend Liberty Concrete and Home Enhancements LLC to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats their clients with respect, LOOK ELSEWHERE! The experience of dealing with Robert and this company has been a complete disappointment. Fortunately, another company was able to work around their screw ups. Now to further fix Liberty's screw up we will be hiring a Landscaper to "hide" the poor curb appeal caused by this company! Do yourself a huge favor when looking for a contractor do your homework and LOOK at ALL reviews before you hire. In response to your comments on this. Perhaps before you call anyone a liar why don't we take a look at the text between us with you admitting to your fault, the proposed completed structure as submitted to Sussex County, and also the failed first footing inspection which you claim didn't happen. As far as the name calling the text clearly show who actually was the name caller and shows how you twist things. There were no lies on any forum (actually 4 not 7 including the BBB). Robert, this has gone on far to long, maybe instead of wasting your energy in trying to discord our honest review about the work you have done for us, you should move on. We have owned our mistake of not doing a vigorous search to review your business before hiring you. Going forward we certainly will not hire any contractor without first doing an extensive search of reviews. If you want to post pics of work another contractor done to fix your screwups then by all means go for it. As for the paperwork, each document is fact including your failed footer inspection you claimed didn't happen. This particular document was taken from the Sussex County website. Now are you going to claim the county is lying as well? I am not going to continue back and forth with you and will not engage in your childish tantrums. The public can come to their own conclusion. My review is honest and backed up with documents. You seem to have a problem owning your mistakes.

Our frustration was shared by Anatoly who perservered throughout and adapted to what the Masonite company presented. He kept us informed of what was happening. His work is good and his price was very competitive. Despite the frequent setbacks caused by Masonite I would still recommend Solid Construction for any work. I would recommend shying away from Masonite products due to very poor customer service.

They arrived promptly at 8:30 every morning and worked full days, often until 5:00 or later. They also cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and left everything exceptionally clean when the job was finished--far more than I've experienced with most contractors. One thing I especially appreciated was how involved Vlad allowed me to be throughout the entire process. At different stages of the project, he would stop and ask for my opinion or preference rather than simply making decisions for me. He listened to my feedback, offered his professional input, and made sure I was happy with the direction of the work as it progressed. They even relocated my exterior hose bib and an electrical outlet as part of the project, which saved me the headache of coordinating separate contractors to get those items taken care of. What really sets Vlad apart, though, is the unusual situation he was willing to take on. Another contractor had started my project and abandoned it less than midway through, leaving Vlad to walk into someone else's unfinished work. I had several contractors come out to quote completing it, and Vlad was the only one who was completely comfortable and confident taking over where someone else had left off. Anyone who has dealt with contractors knows how difficult it can be to find someone willing to do that. Vlad didn't hesitate--he looked at what needed to be done and was more than happy to take it on. He was also extremely transparent and fair when it came to additional job expenses. At the end of the project, he personally handed me every receipt and had me review and calculate the expenses myself. There were no surprises or questionable charges, which I really appreciated. After the experience I had before finding StoneHart, having a contractor show up when he said he would, communicate with me, respect my property, involve me in the process, and actually finish the job properly meant more than I can say. I will absolutely use Vlad and StoneHart again for future projects, both inside and outside my home. I would highly recommend him and his crew to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, dependable, transparent, flexible, and easy to work with.

I followed up with at least 2 texts- wweren't you going to send us numbers? where are the numbers? We'll have to go with someone else if we don't hear from you. NOTHING. We went with someone else. That was about a month ago. TODAY I receive a call from them wanting to follow up on the estimate they's sent me (that I never received). Well maybe it's in your spam. It wasn't. When I contacted them the owner Rob was up front with me and told me at least 10-12 weeks out. He kept his word on the timeline. On top of the original project he was hired for I ran into a mold problem just as they were to begin the bathroom remodel. He stepped up and fixed the problem and did the original remodel with no breaks in between. The crew that worked here(John and George) couldn't have been nicer and respectful of my home. Hopefully I won't need anymore done to my house but is I do they will be the first I will call.
