We figured the original quote was a good place to start and we would know around about how much pool we could afford before contacting them. We tried our hardest to hand them 75k+ for a pool but unfortunately they preferred to email back and forth for a week instead of meeting with us or calling us up to take the 30min to an hour it should take to design a pool and sign a contract with a buyer that is financed and ready to buy. We even had saved up extra cash beyond our financing to throw into this deal. We were directed to email with Ms. Clark. Every time we tried to get her or anyone on the phone we were direct to use email. Which, don't get me wrong, email is great. Even a follow up email after a phone call just to put in writing what was discussed. Fine. But this was different. Every "itemized" quote was hand written, scanned and sent without prices.. Just one lump sum. Instead of being presented with options we were given an "is that all" approach. They gave us a weird questionnaire that asked us to draw what pool we wanted. I mean how is one to know what pool they can afford unless they are guided through the costs and options? When we finally did speak on the phone the conversation did not go well. I was interrupted time and time again and felt as if they were put out trying to do us a favor. She was so offended That I had the audacity to complain about their process. Even after explaining we did have any knowledge of pools but we're excited to move forward. Terrible customer service. In the end they decided they didn't need our business. Good riddance. Hopefully sometime in the next 50 years they'll hire a sales person instead of only Family members that don't really care about their customers' experience.
