The other owner, whose name I also forget, is an insane in the best way character, tattooed from head to toe. He served us shots immediately (Ok, I don't ever drink shots but it's such a nice gesture) and introduced us to one of the off duty bartenders that spoke English. Here's the thing: you don't need to communicate in English or Italian to feel like you're part of the boisterous family at Trip per Tre. Also, I'm an introvert and typically hide in a corner but something compels me to come out of my shell here. I decided to go in, and the owner and his friends noticed I came in alone - gave me a couple shots on the house, and the conversations started flowing. Despite language barriers, we still managed to have a very hype night. I loved the interior decor - alot of Japanese anime influence, mixed with gritty Irish/Italian flare. The way he pours the beer into the glass, clears the foam off, and dips the glass so its all nice and perfect for you. Such a pro.
