This is the kind of massage that is good for sore athletes and me (sore because I haven't worked out in a long time due to an ankle fracture.) I booked with Alex this week after a referral from my roommate, and feel super lucky to have him in the neighborhood! Had a bad sneezing fit and threw my back out pretty bad. Went to a couple of local massage places that seemed to help a bit, but only temporarily. Went to Alex and immediately knew it would be different from the usual $40 an hour spots. He was super knowledgeable on what was wrong and focused on fixing the problem rather than auto-piloting a practiced routine. At the end of it I felt almost 100% and was kindly taught a bunch of stretches and exercises he implored I do on my own. After the one session and sporadically doing the stretches for about five days, I'm back at 100% except for some soreness from the two weeks of pain. read more

I am experiencing a really, really tight upper traps/lavatory scapula area. It had gotten progressively worse over the last 3 days and I needed to do something. I am super active and my spasming back was preventing me from being so. I found Alex on the internet and he came up in my area. So I texted him short notice and he got back to me right away. I was able to get a massage the same day. Alex is very knowledgeable about his craft and he addressed the exact area I was experiencing my issue. While my back is not 100% ( I'm at around 80%, up from 50% with the aid of Motrin), one thing is for sure I feel 100% better. He gave me some correct exercises and simple stretches to follow-up with.
