Overpriced if you're looking for a legit massage. After a few minutes of an initial massage that was a bit too close for comfort, the masseuse asked me if I was gay or straight: after I asked him to not go so close to my private areas. When I told him I was straight he said, "you know this is a spa for men, right?" My mistake. I was looking for a legit spot and it turns out this place likely has a little bit more going on which is fine, just not my cup of tea. $60 for a 30m entry level amateur massage. If you're a guy looking for a more sensual experience from another man, maybe this is worth it. If you're a guy looking for a massage from a skilled professional you should go to any number of nearby places that are half the price and are focused on actual massages vs something else. I visited this spa a few weeks ago and am curious to hear feedback from other people who have been here and if you've had a different experience. I tried this place on a whim and the only feeling I left with was one of utter disappointment. This was definitely not a case of 'you get what you pay for.' I was expecting a much different experience based on the 7 positive reviews posted here. There was only 1 therapist working at the time I decided to go in and even I had requested an hour session which was shortened to 40 min, including the 5 min I took to rinse off before the session began. I've received other massages in the area which offer cheaper rates and I've left those places feeling relaxed and refreshed. This "hour" massage was definitely not worth the higher price for a much shorter session.  When we were done and I made a comment about the shorter time, I was still expected to pay the full rate, which I felt obligated to so I could just get out of there. The therapist I had was either tired or very bored with his job and while I know this would. never have happened, I wish he would have just said I'm tired and offered me the choice to come back later. This spa is a real haven for men in the Village. Space is warm, clean and welcoming. I've been going for years for back massages from Jerry and they have made a big difference in my comfort level. A total scam. Reduced time, inflated price and tip vulture. The massage itself was basic and unskilled. The premise was a cold underground room that looked like an old, basement dungeon of a residential building. A little creepy. The therapist asked for $100 for 40mins of less than basic massage, which was more than advertised. He demanded $30 of tips even though I said I was not pleased with the experience and would prefer to pay less. It felt like extortion. He made me Venmo him the extra cash because I wasn't expecting to pay so much. He told me a different price on the phone for a 60min massage, and said later there is an evening surcharge. You are better off going to any Chinatown massage place. read more

Just had a nice massage with Johnson at this men's spa. The location is just 2 blocks form the train and the spa itself is a no frills but clean enough. The only thing that I didn't like about the setup is that the room they put me in connects to 2 other rooms one on each side and the entire time I was worried that someone was going to open either door to come through . The massage was medium pressure (which I like ) and the masseur was very professional, technical yet has some sensual/relaxing techniques . Towards the end the massage was not as good maybe because of a lack in communication but over all it was very relaxing . It also was a bit less of an hour in total. I will give it another try and hopefully I will be more pleased at the end so that I can give it a full 5 stars. read more

I experienced a wonderful massage for my birthday a few days ago. I found the atmosphere to be calming and clean. I also thought the masseuse/owner was professional and welcoming. They are a total scam and so shady. My friend and I went in for a massage on January 27th at 10p. We were from out of town. My friend found this so-called 'spa' online. They stated that it was/is their 'Grand Opening'. They offered a $10 off coupon by either printing it out OR by showing it on a mobile device. When my friend went to pay after the massage (which wasn't anything to rave over--in fact, they even asked us if we wanted them to take care of us sexually, and if we did, it was extra $$!!!), the guy who massaged me said that they would not accept a coupon on a mobile device--that it HAD to be printed. My friend explained that their online coupon even said it could be printed OR SHOWN ON A MOBILE DEVICE! The massage guy totally REFUSED and said it was the full price!!! OMG! I would NEVER go there again and I don't recommend it to anybody! Good luck. They can't even spell on their website either. So unprofessional! read more
