This massage was definitely very different from that of a typical Swedish massage given by an Asian masseuse, but definitely in a good way! Alex is very professional and well mannered. The room was clean, dimly lit, and cozy. The only bad side is the location, which takes place inside what was previously the building management office for an apartment complex. With cheap rent and the need for an office space, it makes sense why Alex decided to use this strange location for his massage business. I found out about Alex through a Groupon, and I must say he hit the right spots dead on! I felt so much more relaxed and at ease after 2 weeks of busy work in the office. Alex. What a wonderful experience both myself and my husband had under your care! He did such a phenomenal job was VERY professional and never did anything but do his best to make it a really relaxing environment. I chatted we chatted, I wanted to be quiet, he didn't keep trying to chat me up. It was a Swedish which was my first one but I really enjoyed the combination of the direct muscle work and the stretching on the areas I had indicated to hip prior to. The music was great the sheets were comfortable and again, he was really professional. Also this was a great deal on groupon which made it even better. His regular prices are still really reasonable and I'll probably go back and pay full price. He has really flexible hours, which was another lovely feature! The only thing that was unusual was that the building his space is in was locked so he had to let us in himself. He was there right away to let me in though. I found Alex on Groupon. He was easy to book with online and I would give the massage a B+. Nothing mindblowing but not bad. It was relaxing and he was communicative, asking me for my preferences a few times. The massage room is clean and Alex is very nice. It didn't knock my socks off so I probably won't return, but it's worth it with the Groupon. I bought the Groupon deal for $50 that was for a 60 minute Swedish massage. If you look up on his website beforehand how to get to his location, it makes it very simple! It is on the first floor of a residential building. It is not a typical massage place but Alex makes you very comfortable and has relaxing music playing. I didn't feel valued as a customer. I was looking forward to this massage as the reviews are good, which is why I decided to buy a Groupon for it in the first place. I sign up on Alex's website but wasn't sure which option to select, and I didn't want to get charged twice as much for the wrong selection when I showed up. I picked one, entered my credit card info, and I emailed Alex when I booked for clarification. No response but my email tracker showed that he opened my email. I tried calling several times and no answer. I sent him a text message the night before my booking and I saw he read it but didn't take the 2 seconds it takes to respond. So what am I supposed to do the night before my appointment when the business owner isn't responding to my emails, phone calls or text messages to answer a simple question? I canceled. And now I'm going through the fun task of disputing the charge. I was hesitant to book in the first place since this whole thing takes place in a residential building but decided to give it try since the reviews are so good. He knew where to focus even when I didn't and it was a full body, didn't skimp anywhere which was nice. This is by far one of the best deals I have every gotten on a massage for as great as it was. Alex paid special attention to the areas in my back that were hurting. He worked out the nots and took the time to really relieve my pain- something more massage therapists don't always do. He took time to work on the pec, neck, legs, and arm muscles, identifying areas of concern, etc. Although I only paid for 60 minutes, he spent close to 75 minutes on the massage. you can tell he really cares about what he does!
