When I first saw Alexandra's photos on Yelp, I knew I needed to have some family photos taken by her. So I quickly snatched up a spot on her fall mini sessions. The photos came out just as I expected! The quality is professional and every picture she captured is amazing. I love her use of natural lighting. It's just so beautiful and the picture really takes you back to the moment. This feeling is perfect because I want to be able to look back when my baby is a teenager and remember this special time. To top things off, she delivered the photos to me the very next day! Although, normal turn around time is between 1-3 weeks she was able to make it happen for us. The mini sessions are short but it's enough for her to work her magic. She is a bit further than where I live (I live in Ventura) but the drive was worth it. WOW!!! Lexi absolutely exceeded all my expectations. We did a family photo session with her which included our very active 10 month old. During the session our daughter was more interested in checking out the scenery than posing for photos but Lexi was absolitely great at getting her attention. I was really worried about how many photos we would get that would actually be useable but when we got our photos I was blown away. SO MANY amazing photos from our 1 hour session. They are gorgeous. Before the birth of our first child, we shopped for local photographers before finding Alexandra. Not only did she have a stunning newborn portfolio, but her comparatively reasonable prices included hi-res digital files with printing rights - something other photographers of the same caliber wanted to charge an additional hefty fee for! So we really felt like we were getting more bang for our buck. Alexandra and her husband were very professional and it was fun to watch them at work... they definitely have their techniques down for keeping a baby calm through multiple changes of props, environment and poses. She has a great artistic eye but was also open to ideas of our own. We just got our CD package of photos which included a set of baby announcements which we customized, and everything looks amazing. I would definitely recommend Alexandra's services, and we look forward to working with her again sometime! read more

Alexandra is a very talented photographer with a creative artistic eye. I usually don't leave reviews, but we are so happy with her work that I felt compelled to write a review. Alexandra did our family photoshoot at the Paramount Ranch. She was able to capture amazing photos of my very active constantly-moving 13-month old boy. In all our photos, the sun is present without its direct light darkening the image. Her ability to use the sun in the background has made the natural scenery around us have a gorgeous surreal look and feel. She also uses the direct sunlight in the image to make her subjects the focal point. I'm going to give Alexandra our future photoshoots as well. read more

We absolutely loved the photographs from our family beach shoot! Lexi was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating in rescheduling when my son came down with a fever days before our shoot. She will definitely be our family photographer from now on and I am recommending her to all of our friends. We really liked that she gave us all of the photos she took, more than 40 of which are frame worthy. It is a much less stressful experience than those photographers that charge $100-$150 a picture. Unless you have thousands to spend, you walk away with only a few photographs, most likely leaving ones you wanted behind. Not so in this case! I can't say enough good things about her! She's a mom, so she knows the kind of photos to take, and gives you a huge gallery!!!! She's worth the money and then some. I'm so glad we decided to go with Lexi for our newborn daughter's photos! From the first time I contacted her and even after we received our pictures, she was always very quick to respond. On the day of the shoot, she arrived on time with all of her props and got everything set up. Where do I begin? Alexandra has documented so many beautiful memories of ours in the past three years. She helped us share our news that we were expecting, went on a crazy lake trip with us because we had the brilliant idea to have our maternity photos at the lake, she took our sons newborn photos and our most recent family photos. She is so incredibly patient with little ones. At our newborn session, our son peed on her and her props twice, and she laughed it off like just another day at work. Then at our family shoot, our son was in a crabby mood and fought us the whole time. The miracle worker she is caught his smiles on camera and you would have never known he was in a bad mood. Let's talk a minute about the lighting. I don't know how she does it, but her photos somehow always capture the most gorgeous light. We have referred several family and friends to Alexandra and everyone has been very happy with her work. Do not expect your time with her to be in and out.
