My biggest disappointment concerning ACS is their inability to resolve customer concerns. I found the concept of a deep cleaning appealing so hired ACS. After setting up the initial appt Fernando called a couple of times to reschedule. During one call he asked if I could 'run home at lunch & unlock a back door'. For me this was a bit disconcerting since I had not done business with them in the past. Nor was it convenient since I was at work and a 'run home' would take 1 1/2 hrs+. Instead I worked it out to leave the office early towards the end of the day. For the most part the service was nice and the staff was polite, but they missed some important tasks, especially considering this was a deep cleaning & I was paying accordingly; didn't shake out the rugs at the doors, missed sweeping under one entirely. Didn't clean behind or around the living room couch & end tables. Didn't clean the entryway & laundry room. Spent the better part of an hour cleaning a self-cleaning oven. I would have preferred they spend an hour cleaning other areas. His response to my concerns were, "guess we can't please everyone." A valuable item was broken during the cleaning. Initially they were accommodating but have since made the process stressful. Fernando requested I meet with him & his wife in person and, as he phrased it, the employees accused of the damages. I agreed to meet with him & his wife, but felt it unnecessary creating an awkward situation by including the additional staff members. How ACS decides to handle the situation internally I felt was none of my business. I was literally told, "I believe my employees have the right to defend themselves and face their accuser." I've had a couple different cleaning services at our home in the 3 or so years we have been in Tucson. Don't get me wrong, they helped a bit, but it was no where near worth the money. With Alex's I've finally found a company that isn't just going through the motions. They don't just run a mop over the floor and call it good. They SEE spots that need extra attention and put the work in make their time (and our money) worth it to have them come out. Example: We had some paper stuck to the floor in our front room that the last company literally didn't get up for THREE visits. Before I had even finished showing Alex's boss lady what we wanted done around the house another worker had sprayed and was finishing scraping the paper off the floor. They cleaned not just the surfaces, but the items ON the surface. They cleaned the windows, the baseboards, and even the doors without me even asking. Our house feels brighter, less dingy, and more open. I feel as though my stress level is down and I'm better able to focus on work and family without the back of my mind screaming about the cleaning that needs to be done. Obviously I highly reccomend Alex's. They have quite a wait for their detailed deep cleaning (what we got) and at the moment nothing for weekly or biweekly but it's worth the wait. And they do such a good job it just feels cleaner longer. It's been a couple weeks and the house still feels fresh (compared to the other places where everything felt dingy again after a few days) Plus they're pricing is competitive and they use more eco friendly products. read more

Having just moved to Tucson I wanted a thorough move-in cleaning of my 1500 s/f home before the moving van would arrive. Not knowing anyone except my realtor for a referral, I trusted my instincts when I landed on Alex's website and read the reviews. Fernando got in touch with me right away after I sent a message and fortunately for me they had a cancellation of a regular customer for the next day. When those ladies piled out of a sparkling clean white van and I was greeted by Alex herself I felt pretty confident I hit pay dirt. And I did. These women came in, immediately fanned out through the house and never came up for air until 3 hours later. They WASHED THE WALLS and baseboards, every shelf inside cabinets, drawers, pulled out the refrigerator to clean behind and took out every shelf to clean it, the stove and oven literally look brand new. The bathrooms, tubs and all glass shower, sparkling clean. And the concrete floors - absolutely GLEAMING. I had some furniture in the house I bought from the seller and every piece was spotless and shining. I cannot find any way to describe just how good they really are except to say that Martha Stewart herself would be ecstatic to have such dedicated, well trained, compulsive cleaners. This team is the best in the business! We are completely satisfied and blown away by the amazing job that this team did to clean our home. We had a team of 4 that completed a deep clean throughout our home and they did not leave a single surface untouched. The level of detail that was put into the cleaning was above and beyond my expectations. The team worked diligently for 5 hours straight and did not cut any corners. When they were done, our home was sparkling as if it were brand new. Our oven was an absolute disaster before they arrived and when they left, it looked like a newly purchased appliance was put in its place. This company is AMAZING! We had a situation where we needed them to come in a clean an apartment where a person with hoarder tendencies lived with 6 dogs and 2 cats. In a word, the place was disgusting as it hadn't really been cleaned in at least 10 years. I wasn't sure what they could really do, but WOW, just WOW. As has been stated in other reviews, the detail to which they cleaned, not just wiping over the surface, but picking everything up, wiping or cleaning it and putting it back in a way that was much better than before was beyond what I thought they could do. I cannot recommend them any higher. The showed up when they said they would, they called you back after leaving a message. My mother was in the hospital and father was overwhelmed with domestic duties. Called Alex's cleaning service and they showed up within a couple days, in force (5 workers total including one of the owners) and overhauled the entire house late afternoon and into the evening. Have since scheduled them for biweekly service. We were quoted a reasonable price over the phone, but the final bill for the initial cleaning was substantially less. Fernando and his crew took extra time to talk with my father and relieve his concerns about strangers in his home. They were very professional, courteous and friendly. Fernando got us scheduled quickly and with short notice! Esther and her team did a phenomenal job cleaning our 2700 sq ft home. They came in and completed the deep clean in 3 hours and that was even with my entire family running around, probably in their way. They were especially kind and it's so nice to see clean baseboards and windows/blinds again. After a small mixup (and my overpayment), Fernando came back out to the house to issue us a refund of the overpayment on the very next day. The team did an amazing job!! They had a crew of 5 and spent over 3 hours at our house for a deep clean. They cleaned from floor to ceiling and did an outstanding job. We've had crews come before and no experience like this. They spent over an hour in JUST my kitchen and when I tell you my oven is SPOTLESS- I am not exaggerating.
