The shop was closed and no one answered the phone. we left a message with our number and no one returned the call. we had to rent another car to travel north to our hotel. After emailing Holiday Car, they took 5 weeks to respond with a form letter that we would not be refunded our payment. Do not use these folks - they are clearly a ripoff.

The bus departs PMO airport every 30 minutes at the top and bottom of the hour, so if your timing works out right, this could be the way for you to go. Amazingly, the bus left on time and was a smooth and comfortable 35 minutes through traffic to get to our stop. The seats worked fine, there was a USB slot to charge my phone charger and the seat was decently comfortable for six foot tall American. Definitely would recommend this method of travel. Nous avions réservé via Opodo Prime une voiture chez Sicily by Car à l'aéroport de Palerme (12 au…read more24 août). - Présents à l'heure le jour J avec tous les documents, mais uniquement cartes de débit (leurs propres conditions indiquent qu'elles sont acceptées à Palerme avec dépôt via virement). - L'agent refuse la remise du véhicule, prétextant obligation carte de crédit. - Nous revenons le lendemain avec la preuve officielle de leurs conditions et la possibilité de faire un virement immédiat de la caution. - Ils refusent en prétextant que la réservation est annulée après 2h... alors que nous étions venus à l'heure la veille et que le refus venait d'eux. Résultat : 500 € de réservation perdus, obligés de louer en urgence chez Avis Budget pour 900 € supplémentaires. Coût total de l'arnaque : 1 400 €. No one was there when we returned the car in the morning and we left the keys as we were told to do. Three weeks later we received a charge for $460 for damage to the bumper of the car. There was no damage when we left the car!!!! Talking and writing Thrifty and rentalcars.com did no good. Thankfully, our credit card company believed us. I would NOT recommend either of these companies. DO NOT USE!!!
