I took my laptop to Alpha Computers on a Monday because it was running slow and the screen broke. I called on Wed for a follow up and they said the screen would not arrive until Friday. I had a meeting on Friday and I needed my laptop. Alpha Computers then went above and beyond to find a screen local so they could finish my computer on Th. That is some great Customer Service! They transferred all my files and offered to help me with anything else I needed (i.e. reinstall McAfee, Carbonite, etc). My computer is now working great! I took my laptop to have it repaired at COMPUTERS & LAPTOPS, INC. (C A L I), 140 N. Benson Street, Upland, CA 91786, (909) 985-0051). As it was giving me troubles, and I needed it for my work, I discovered that the laptop was not "holding" a charge. Through the company, I was told that the battery's charging pin needed to be replaced. I appreciated that C A L I examined the laptop free of charge and, when they discovered the malfunction, they were willing to negotiate a reasonable price to have it repaired. I also appreciated the spirit of the "two men" operation who worked in a timely manner to take care of my laptop. The other day my father couldn't access his information on his laptop, and couldn't get online. I, an IT professional, was at work, so he went on his own to Alpha Business Systems and was told his hard drive had corrupted sectors and a virus. Basil, the gentleman my father spoke with, was very friendly. I spoke with him the next day, and informed him I could get a better computer deal than what he was offering, however we first let him try to match the specifications so as not to have him lose the sale. We gave him a few hours to search his warehouse, and called him back, and he informed us he needed more time. At this point, my father said "nevermind" and we picked up our laptop. The guy genuinely cares about his customers, however we chose not to do business with him and instead purchased a laptop through Newegg. read more

I left my laptop here for a damaged motherboard. The guy that works there, Mahmoud Khan promised a day or two. A few days later he said the repair was completed and would cost around $90 after we had agreed to only $50. I didn't mind and then called to arrange pick up and he came up with all these stories of how it was outsourced and on its way back. Days and days later, I became frustrated and said I just want my laptop and he then said it was not repaired. When I went to pick it up, I got back home to find out the 17" LCD screen was now cracked!! I called to find out what happened and was attacked with verbal hostility and complete denial of any liability followed by him ending the call while I was speaking. Very unprofessional, crook. Stay away, much better and more honest people to deal with than this shady place. read more
