We have had so many friends migrate to him and they are loyal to him. Just had our 2019 taxes done with him tonight. Happy with the results to come, as always. I have had my taxes done in the past by Deloitte, Jackson Hewitt, H&R and have even done them myself on TurboTax for a few years. That is until I took my TurboTax returns that I had filled out myself back in 2017, though not yet submitted to give to Patrick to see if he was able to get me back an additional amount more, he was able to get back a decent amount more, all the while staying conservative, per my request. I had promised him I would switch to him if he could get me more than I could on my own. He delivered. Patrick's always the friendliest, amenable, positive, easy going, honest and most trustworthy accountant I have ever met. He's been doing my taxes ever since. He's always straight forward, will tell you what documents he needs, is very clear and succinct about the taxable amounts, applicable deductions. Before he has you sign the form to send for federal and state taxes, he will run through the form and explain any questions that might come up. He does it so quick, makes me think he could do it in his sleep, he's so amazingly fast. Then again he does this daily and does as many as 10 a day. He is a hard worker, knows his stuff and it shows. Patrick is surely to become your best friend. He will even help educate you amid and along your tax process. He's clear about his forms of payments: checks or credit cards are accepted. He will explain the rates before or afterwards, your preference. It will feel like a good friend is handling your taxes. You will never regret making this pivotal move to have your taxes done by the Magi of CPAs. He's a wizard and I am so grateful to know him and trust my taxes to him.

The gentleman (Alan) who does the taxes here bases his prices off how complicated they are. He has an MBA from Harvard and is super cool to deal with, along with being reasonably competitive with his pricing compared to other accountants. My mom and I went together and he took us at 7PM on a Friday night. He had mine done (the easier of the two) in 15 minutes and my moms (who's more complicated) in about 30 minutes. We both sat with him separately to go through each item and things went smoothly. We both paid by check, as I don't believe he takes any other form of payment. You can ask, but that's what it is. Overall, he filed it electronically and he said I should get my refund in about two weeks. For me, I spent about $225 for everything, and my mom's was $390. Most places we called were a flat fee of $400 to $450, so this pricing is fabulous compared to what's out there. Alan's located in downtown Berkley and I do recommend him!
