I have used Cameron's electrical service many times and thought electrician 'R' was really good…read more However, on 8/18 I was totally dissatisfied with the cost of $305 for the service. I will never use them again nor recommend them in local websites. On 8/15, I called and spoke to manager 'B' and asked about the cost for electrician 'R' to install two-(2) garage outside wall lights. 'B' said less than one hour. The first hour is $170 and it would be less than 1 hour for electrician 'R' to install the lights and that he would have some time to do something else. 'B' said nothing about sending an apprentice. On 8/18 'R' showed up however, he brought a apprentice. The apprentice shorted out a GFCI and it took 15 minutes to find the main GFCI. The bill stated: $170 for electrician $135 for trainee. $305 Total I had to pay for 2 people to do a ONE MAN JOB. Basically, I paid for the cost to train the apprentice. No one paid me to go to college. THIS WAS A ONE MAN JOB AND FOR A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE CALL. WHY DID CAMERON's SEND TWO-(2) PEOPLE. While Cameron's deducted $40 from the invoice, however if I did not complain, I would be stuck with full cost. How many residential customers foolishly pay to train Cameron's employees? An old IBEW union electrician's joke; How many electricians does it take to change a light bulb. TWO: ONE to hold the bulb and ONE to turn the ladder. Camerons is ignoring their responsibility of loyalty, openness & honesty to their residential customers.

The electricians and HVAC employees came on time and did a great job. I haven't seen the final cost yet, but the original price quote seemed fair for the type work done.
