I called a number of local shoe repair places and Clarke's was the first one to answer that had weekend hours so I opted to give them a try. Initially, I dropped off the shoe and was told I would get a call with an estimate. I dropped them off on a Saturday and had heard nothing by the following Sunday so I reached out via Facebook messenger and left my number. I was called back by Farrell, the owner, and given a quote, a time estimate and an option to pay via PayPal (they don't do credit cards). Once that was all squared away, Clarke's went to work on my shoe. When it was finished Farrell called me to let me know I could pick it up and explained a little about what he did to the shoe. While Bel Air is a bit of a drive for me, the customer service and quality of the work that Clarke's provided means I will be returning in the future.

Staff was super friendly and a technician came out to me in a matter of days explaining everything that was wrong (it fried itself), what our next steps that will be taken, parts that'll be ordered, and of course payment. With snow imploding on our next visit I was kept updated on all the things and options to change my appt date. I love that they call 30 minutes before arriving. They offered a warranty that is the topping on a great experience. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for great service, amazing communication and quality work. He also installed a new outlet for an overly sensitve humidity sensor for my bathroom ventilator. It kept going on over and over again. I had to keep turning it off multiple times a day. He also cut the ends off of some shades I had ordered. They are custom made shades and I apparently gave the wrong measurements and they were too long. I had called around to different stores and no one was willing to help me unless I had bought the shades from them. I mentioned it to Vlad to see if he knew of anyone who could help me out, and he said I can try. He is an electrician, but he used his skills to really help me out.
