The food choices were somewhat limited although my wife and I were quite happy with what we got. The menu is a step up compared to many of the other local restaurants that seem to specialize in all things fried. Service was good, quick and friendly. Outdoor seating was nice although April in mid Ohio can be borderline between nice and a bit chilly - Summer months would be ideal. We'll probably hit it again tomorrow PM as it's just a step up from the rest of Logan's offerings.

We ordered two drinks, a Moscow mule and N/A beer; the cashew queso, the deconstructed chicken cordon bleu, and the brisket mac and cheese. Drinks were great. The queso was super thick and more like a black bean dip, so that didn't hit right. Dinner arrived and looked great, but the chicken was bland and really just felt like a chunk of meat to get through. The mac and cheese was OK, but be aware it is covered in a sweet BBQ sauce and is more of a braised brisket than smoked BBQ. Our server was great, and the atmosphere was great. But all of that above decent at best food came to a total of around $100 (just about $30 per entree) for a party of two. My wife and I go about once a year for a meal that expensive and it is not for the quality of food we spent at 58 West. I'd say 58W needs to either lower their prices or the consumer needs to lower their expectations and head somewhere else.

Our waitress was great, professional and funny. She kept our drinks coming, I was drinking Jackie O's Mystic Mama's which I love, my lady friend had The Logan which she says is the best mixed drink that she's ever had. I ordered the fish basket, which tasted great. The batter on the fish was very crunchy and tasty. You get two sides with it, I chose the Mac and cheese and the tots. The Mac and cheese was very creamy and tasted great. Tots are tots. My friend had the Willy's House Cheeseburger and fries she said that it was very good also. Great food, great service!

Could literally see her standing behind the bar talking to who turned out to be the "bar manager" a joke if you want to call her that. I walked up to the bar and asked if we could speak to a manger and "logan" informed us she was infact the manager. She was very snappy from the jump. She then pretty much told me and I quote "if you don't like it you can always leave." In reference to me complaining about bad service, and undercooked meat... a few days later I was with some buddy's and informed them.. just for me to be told by them they SPECIFICALLY avoid the bar when logan's behind it! guess I missed the memo! Went there for fun and for pool and overall just a terrible experience when I was hoping for more. Even the beer sucked as the glasses weren't chilled. worst sports bar ever.

If you're looking for that laid-back, small-town bar vibe with live music and solid bar food,…read moreTavern 62 might be your spot. When you pull into the parking lot, you're greeted with signs promoting Bike Night and upcoming events, which immediately tells you this place has a loyal following. They even have an outdoor stage for bands, so I can imagine this place really comes alive in the warmer months. Inside, it's dimly lit with more of a bar feel than a traditional restaurant. Neon signs and posters line the walls, and a few TVs are scattered around the room. It's a smaller place -- maybe a dozen tables or so -- but it had a nice mix of people. There were clearly some locals or regulars hanging at the bar, a couple of families having dinner, and a few couples like us. It felt comfortable and unpretentious. Our bartender/server came right over, welcomed us, took our drink order, and grabbed our food order without missing a beat. The menu is fairly small -- mostly bar food staples, a couple of salads, a few pizzas, and sandwiches. Nothing fancy, just the kind of stuff you expect in a neighborhood tavern. I ordered the Porky Burger. It comes with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and their "famous Porky's sauce." Here's where it got interesting -- the tomatoes were cut into wedges instead of slices, the lettuce was chopped, and the onions were diced small. A little different presentation than I'm used to, but it worked. The Porky's sauce tasted mayo-based with some spices mixed in -- not exactly sure what's in it, but it was flavorful and tied everything together nicely. The burger itself was seasoned well and juicy -- definitely not dry -- and it came on a soft bun that held up to all the toppings. On the side were what I'd call "twister fries" -- kind of like a steak fry that got twisted along the way. They were crispy and seasoned well. Overall, I really enjoyed my burger. My wife ordered the Italian sub with beer-battered onion rings. She said the meat on the sub had a spicy kick -- a little too spicy for her taste -- so she only ate about half. But she did really enjoy the onion rings. They also offer daily specials, and Tuesday's deal is hard to beat: an 8oz steak, baked potato, side salad, and roll for $16. That's a great value. All in all, if you're in the mood for a dive bar atmosphere, live music vibes, and a good burger or classic bar food, Tavern 62 is worth checking out.
