After 3 years of working with out local fertility doctor I was told IVF was our only hope. We…read moreresearched all the IVF centers in New England and decided to put our trust in the hands of Boston IVF. We first met with Donna Quickly followed by Dr Alan Penzias. After he looked at my past medical records ( PCOS, hypothyroidism, complex hyperplasia with atypia, hashimotos, and hormone imbalance) he still thought he could help! We drove 3 hours to the Waltham center had our first retrieval even got super lucky to have dr Penzias do the retrieval! All the nurses were fabulous! Unfortunately 3 days later we got a call none of our 18 eggs fertilized correctly, the eggs broke down and allowed several sperm in each egg. I was sure all hope was gone. I was crushed. The heartache was more then I thought I could bare. To add salt to my wound I was going to have a follow up call with Dr Penzias. How would I survive this call? Should I not answer? Make my husband take it? Maybe I would die of a broken heart before he had time to call! Well 3 days later at 1 the phone rung, box of tissues in hand I answered. It was Dr Penzias, but he said this was not the end!!!! There was another medicine to add!!!! It should make the outer shell of my eggs stronger! Did you hear that??? Hope!!! Well that's in feb we drove back to Waltham and did our 2nd fresh cycle, 3 days later we transferred 2 beautiful babies and on march 17 the most beautiful sound I ever heard my little baby's heart beat of 147bpm. I delivered a beautiful baby girl who is now 7. Dr Penzias will never know what he did for my family! It's way more then just his job! Even 7 years later he still recognized me!

I…read morespecifically chose Dr. Nesbit because she expressed genuine concern over how often patients--especially women--aren't heard. She promised to listen and support me throughout the process. That promise was broken. From the beginning, it was clear that my concerns were only taken seriously when voiced by my husband. As the patient, I was routinely dismissed or talked over, while my husband was treated as the authority--even when repeating what I had just said. It was humiliating and invalidating. Things came to a head when a nurse repeatedly called me by the wrong name. I corrected her multiple times, and when I finally showed understandable frustration, I was treated as the problem. No apology, just defensiveness. Then, during a follow-up, Dr. Nesbit herself referred to me using that same wrong name. That moment broke whatever trust I had left. The doctor I had chosen for her empathy didn't even know who I was. I also brought up documented efforts I had made--messages and attempts to clarify care that were ignored across multiple departments. Dr. Nesbit seemed surprised, despite this being a repeated issue. My efforts to be proactive were simply brushed aside by staff, with zero accountability. This entire experience made me feel invisible, silenced, and deeply disrespected. For a place that claims to support women through one of the most vulnerable times in their lives, the disconnect between that promise and my reality was staggering. If you want to be truly seen, heard, and cared for as a patient, I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere

I selected the office from a list of in-network providers…read morenear the start of our IUI journey, when the fertility clinic found polyps needing removal, and I'm very happy with my selection. From the first visit to the last, I can't say enough positive things about Dr Muenzer and his team - they are all very caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable professionals. My only comment would be that I wish Dr Muenzer was able to deliver our son when he was born, but wasn't able to due to prior (out-of-state) commitments, out of anyone's control. He did visit us in the hospital when he returned and we were very grateful. If we were to have another baby (and that's a BIG IF), we would most definitely return to Dr Muenzer and his team, despite living further away now - they're worth the 60-mile round trip drive. :) Edit: the office is on bus routes and has a free parking garage beneath the building.

We were immediately more comfortable and have mostly been treated extremely well. We both tried IVF and we both got pregnant on each try, so they're obviously doing something right. The appointments do feel rushed sometimes and Dr. Hill does more so talk at you than to you--but if you want a baby they know their stuff. Overall I would recommend them. And if you are reading this, good luck on your journey!

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep.
