Highly recommend this coffee shop! Interesting twist of both coffee and crepes in one establishment. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I got a chai latte which was good and enjoyed my nutella strawberry crepe. I wish my crepe was a little warmer, as it tasted cold when served, but still enjoyed it. My boyfriend got more of a savory crepe and it tasted like an omelette. I will say one point of feedback: I wish we could eat the crepes on a plate since we dined inside. As seen in my photo, it is more so in a to-go fashion to eat the crepe which is cool but we ended up eating inside at the barstools and wanted to eat it with a fork, for example. New cafe on the block! Been wanted to try this place for some time and I finally got the chance. I came here on two occasions, one for morning coffee and the second for lunch. For morning run: I ordered a latte and it was heavier on the milk compared with the espresso ratio. As for lunch: ordered a crepe and it was delicious. Fluffy crepe wrapped with arugula, bacon, avocado, cheese within. This was the highlight. Super friendly service, good Japanese crepes all gluten free, got the truffle mushroom and it was very goot

Excited to have coffee option that stay open a little later in the afternoon; it's hard to get good coffee after 4PM. Unfortunately, Align didn't really solve that problem, because the coffee wasn't very good. I think the roast was off...tasted cardboardy, which I believe specialty coffee experts call "baked". Maybe that, maybe something else, but it was definitely flawed. Too bad because seemed like it was made from good beans (Yirgachef), and was brewed well (I had a cold brew). I couldn't get much information about the roaster, which was surprising in a specialty coffee shop...in other words, staff wasn't that well educated about the coffee. With that in mind, I'm a little reluctant to try an espresso drink, but I might try a drip coffee sometime. Also, important to note, this place is very expensive, especially for the area. Small cold brew with tax was $4.90. Espresso is $3.40 plus tax. I can't imagine the prices are that high at Fiction, the closest specialty coffee. read more

Love this place. Great crepes and amazing coffee. Complaints: they drizzle a lot of sauce on top and so the first few bites are amazing but once you get down to the middle it gets pretty dry. Also kind of overpriced but I think it's what you would expect from a place like this. Very cute branding, they sell a few retail items that are intriguing. I love their pastel green napkins I've never seen napkins so cute! If you want the absolutely most expensive coffee in all of Brooklyn and NY, you should come to this place! For a large Americano and large mocha, they wanted to charge me (I think) between $15 and $16!! When I asked to see the cost breakdown, they had charged the Americano coffee for $5.99 and the large mocha for $6.99 or $7.99!!! In all other coffee shops around the neighborhood, they charge the large Americano anywhere between $3.50 and $4.00! For Mocha, in this shop they only offer small and large sizes. The small size costs $5.99, which is the cost of medium size in all other coffee shops! Out of embarrassment, I only took the Americano, paying $5.99 for that!! I still regret not leaving the place... I always order these two types of coffees. They never cost me above $10... Somehow, this shop thinks they can charge around $16 for the same order (60% increase above the average cost!!!) and get away with it... I really hope customers read this review, before they decide to order from that shop.. I'm attaching photos as a proof that I did go there today. read more

With having BK Speed/ Fiction and The West both serving Forty Weight coffee, this coffee just fell a bit flat. I've walked by this place a couple times on the way to the J and have salivated looking in the window at the girls making crepes. I planned all week to take myself on a breakfast date here, and it was a major hit. I'm obsessed with crepes but due to an illness I can't have gluten, so was excited to try their gf crepes. Delicious! The crepe was thin, chewy, buttery, and a little sour, exactly like a traditional crepe! They are served in these cute paper cones so easy to eat on the go.
