I was immediately interested because of the name of the shop and also because I love checking out gift shops and supporting small businesses. It was towards the end of my lunch break so I didn't have the time to check it out, but went on their website and was very impressed by it so I made it a point to stop by today. The store is tucked away in a plaza with other stores so there is plenty of parking. When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by the owner, Sharon, who was very kind, helpful, inspirational, and super down to earth. She told me the store was just opened last month so she is still in the process of getting merchandise for it. I would not have known if she didn't tell me as there were plenty of cute items available for purchase throughout the store. She gave me a little tour of the store and showed me the various different items that she had for sale without ever being pushy. She explained that she tries to sell things that are locally made which I absolutely love. We talked quite a bit and I found her journey to be very inspiring. Without having any knowledge or experience of owning and running a business, she took the risks that come along with it to follow her passion and do what it is that she loves. The store itself is very cute. The decor is clean and refreshing. She has various different items for sale including home decor, gifts, jewelry, pet items, candles, etc. Being a vegan, I was very pleased to see that she also had some vegan items for sale such as vegan leather handbags and vegan chapsticks/ lip glosses. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy a gift for someone or even to treat yourself. I left there with some candles and home decor. She makes her own candles which smell amazing! 5 stars!

I love going to Weston Nurseries because they make everyone feel like a garden expert. Their staff are helpful and friendly and if they don't know an answer, they'll find someone who does! I was very pleasantly surprised to see their huge selection of perennials had been laid out alphabetically this year!!!!! No more aimless wandering looking for astilbe in the middle of the hellebores or sedum. The prices are a bit higher than other local shops or big box home improvement stores. However, aside from two of the mini plants I bought from the clearance section that died, I have never been disappointed in the quality of things I've purchased there. There were, however, at least three instances where venders made very sexist, condescending remarks, such as "you should find a boyfriend who can teach you engineering," or "this isn't the place for a nice girl like you, with all these electronics!" Usually I could forgive this, and in all cases I informed them that I was in fact an engineer despite being a woman (a radical concept, I know), but in all cases, when I asked the prices of different components they gave me ones that were significantly higher than usual. I decided to do an experiment; I had my friend (a guy) go to one of the same venders and ask the price of the same component and the vender's price for him was lower (only by like two dollars, but still).

There is absolutely no store like this and truly unique finds. I send all my family and friends here. Not only that, but Sue the owner also does custom arrangements and interior design. I've often come in showing her pictures of a room, and she curates and designs a space on the spot. Sue truly has an incredibly rare talent and eye for design that cannot be imitated. Other stores may try to duplicate her looks, but they don't even come close! Sue is the real deal, and is always ahead of the trends - often setting her own. Alima's Purse is a wonderful shop if you are concerned about fair trade , it has a most unusual selection of books,pottery,and scarfs, all kinds of beautiful things. My favorite is the jewelery.
