Selling our late mother's home with Alisa Troy was one of the easiest real estate experiences we have ever had. I know everyone has a friend or a friend of a friend that recommends a realtor, but you should seriously consider having Alisa (and her husband Chris) come out and talk to you. We tried to sell 2 years ago with a different realtor but pulled it off the market after a month because we weren't getting the offers we wanted. We knew we wanted to sell again so we had a few different realtors out and Alisa was one of them. We were nervous and had concerns about things about our house that we thought prevented the offers we wanted years ago, but Alisa was so confident in everything that our worries evaporated. And we knew we wanted to make some improvements before listing, but we didn't know to what extent - especially giving our failed sale previously. Her husband Chris (a general contractor) was so great to have and suggesting what we should or shouldn't do. They easily could have said, "oh yea, spend all this money doing these improvements because it'll make our job selling that much easier" but they didn't - they were very thoughtful in suggesting what we should and shouldn't improve and what would get us the most bang for our buck.
