    Matcha latte
    Kimberly W.

I visited for my daily matcha latte on a cold, rainy weekend day. When I entered there were only two other guest, by the time I got my drink and left, there was about 7 people in there! The customer service was amazing. The staff was super attentive and asked me questions to make sure the order was correct and made sure the confirm everything. Super nice, super kind, super fast to make the order, the customer service is great overall. I got a matcha latte with oat milk and no sweetener. My matcha latte tasted a bit too powdery/chalky for my liking, but it was overall okay. I didn't love it, but it was good enough. It's hard to get the "just right" amount of matcha powder. Too much and it's powdery/chalky. Too little and there it little to no matcha flavor. The shop was small for 7 guests to be in line to order, but there are two 2-person table seats and 4 counter seats. Inside is very cute and a nice place to just sit and hang out.

Alita deserves the hype! Stopped by to order a highly raved BEC (bacon egg and cheese) and was thoroughly impressed. Perfect sweetness from the biscuit and sauce used and well cooked eggs that weren't too soft it fell apart and not too undercooked that it was dripping everywhere. The 3 person team running the show when I was in shop was phenomenal. All of whom were extremely friendly and switching between duties seamlessly. They offered another customer an extra pastry after their croissant fell apart when being picked up. The same employee ran after a woman who left forgetting she ordered a BEC. Another worker would take stops very briefly to say hello to any puppies that walked into the shop and gave them a treat. The last worker gave me a little extra egg after waiting ~15 mins for the BEC. Tip: you can call ahead! Small shop! A couple seats inside and out if you want to take a little break. And it's extremely well air conditioned! Great joint, I'll be back next time to try the coffee :)

Great pit stop for coffeee/breakfast! They have punch cards but I didn't know this the first time I went and had to ask for one the second time. I think it's 1 free drink after 8? Service seems friendly and you can call in to order ahead. Foods I've tried: BEC - delicious! It has a sweet sauce which I was not expecting (didn't really read the ingredients) Croissant - delicious and flaky, I wished it was bigger!! Its got that slight sweet glaze on top Olive oil cake - sooooooo good, love the lemon Drinks I've tried: Coffee - so far my favorite in the area. Its strong and has a fruity/sour/acidic flavor, which I've grown to like BUT I know a lot of people don't. Dirty chai - my biggest disappointment here :( just tasted really sour (like the coffee sour but worse) and wasn't my cup of tea Another disappointment - oat milk is $1.25 extra, which is by far the most expensive I've seen for milk substitute

Wow! This is a little hidden gem. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had in NYC. Doesn't taste burnt at all like most other places and it has a nutty aftertaste. Really delicious - doesn't even need syrup flavors. The chocolate chip cookie is divine and tastes homemade! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall. It's tiny inside but there are a few tables / stool seats by the window. It's a great spot to bring a book and people watch. They have a bunch of other pastries that look delicious as well and I'm excited to try them all! This spot is just steps from the L train at Grand St. Don't miss it! Super friendly service, quick, and delicious. What else could you need?

Finally had the breakfast sandwich and it was devastatingly good. Yum! They have decaf which is cool.

I've lived in NYC for 9 years and this is the BEST breakfast sandwich I've had during my time here. I recco getting it on the focaccia but the options are plentiful. Not pictured is the banana bread, which for reasons I can't describe is also the best I've had. Just GO!

Simply the best. Great cold brew, amazing Focaccia, get it as a sandwich with the Pastrami Egg cheese and Aioli . Also the workers are very kind and hospitable, especially my main man with the beard! Will be coming back for sure

The reviews of this place are what got us in the door & im so glad we listened. The moment you walk through the door you're met with a warmth you don't always find in the city. The staff was wonderful. The coffee is top notch. Just enough options and not trying to overdo it with an overwhelming menu. The biscuits. THE BISCUITS. Go hungry and get the Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich. It's killer!

    Gluten free biscuits!

Had a bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free biscuit. Wasn't expecting them to have that option so I was positively surprised and it was delicious! Would recommend!

First time coming in person (I have been spoiled and a fantastic coworker would bring in different…read moretreats from here on occasion). The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

Dropped by Radio Bakery on the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day and the lines weren't too crazy…read more I got there in time to grab some breakfast items and baked goods, and then waited at a table outside for the lunch items to get set out around 11AM. I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Radio Bakery... is perfection. I completely understand the line…read more I first ordered the heirloom tomato & feta sandwich, which was unbelievable. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it. The chocolate cherry almond croissant... wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates. 5/5. Hainsley, who helped me, was exceptionally lovely. Everyone even in line was very nice, the vibes were awesome. I'll definitely be back to try the spicy tofu sandwich and the heirloom tomato tart!

Had the blueberry & corn ($9) and seasonal heirloom tomato ($8) and enjoyed them both. + My personal faves are the cheesy pretzel bearclaw ($6.50) and the shakshuka focaccia slice ($9) + Staff is quick and efficient and the long line outside is well organized The reality with Radio at both locations is there will be a wait. Line moves relatively fast but the slowdown is people deciding what to get, so I recommend looking at the menu in advance. Note about food drops: most items drop at 7:30am when they open, but late morning focaccia (eg. tomato & garlic) drop at 10am and lunch sandwiches drop at 11am!
