He was there pouring concrete which is the most important part of the job. He made certain the slab was pitched to drain properly. He was hands on. If the slab is of poor quality , the entire project goes downhill from there. Michael was top notch. He was always responsive even in the middle of another job. He might be curt when answering while in the midst of pouring, but he always answers any day of the week. Many of my friends who used other contractors have had very bad expeiences with some aspect. I called him out once for a leak from these fittings. He charged me $90 just to come out on a project he installed. When I had a second leak from a same type of fitting, he tried to charge me $90 again, when he knew from the previous 2 times that these fittings were poor. He has a real schtick to keep people paying. When I questioned him about charging another $90, he literally ripped the bill out of my hand and said "if you are going to cry about it, hire another plumber and see what he charges you". Very rude and inappropriate. Good riddance - never again. My advice is to look elsewhere for an honest plumber who isn't hostile.
