My family and I went into the store in Leesville Louisiana to take a look at any new products they received for the new year. After meeting my family and I, the manager of the location looked up my information in his store computer. This seemed innocent as we were looking at some couches and I mentioned that I already had an account with them. Later that afternoon, I got a notification on my social media that I was added as a friend via my phone number. After asking this new "friend" how I knew them, I was astonished to find out it was that manager from Aaron's, Gary Owens. He went in to his company computer and took my personal phone number, placed it into his own personal phone, in order to find me on social media. I am angry, I am appalled and most importantly, I am scared. This guy has already proven that he will break the trust between his company and I by using my personal information for his own gain. This leads me to the fact that he also has my address in that computer. As of yesterday I filed a police report on this incident. In this day and age, A woman cannot be too careful. Even if this is the way he picks up women in this area, what is to say that I won't become a news story of a woman found on the side of the road after a "small" incident progressed into something much larger. I called Aaron's this morning to voice my concerns to them and they seemed completely unfazed. They didn't even care to get my police report number. They told me I would get a call from their regional manager within two days. I tried my best to explain to this woman how scary this situation actually is, yet she did not seem to care. I am writing this post not to get sympathy, not to have my loved ones worry about me, but to try and at least warn women. We should not have to worry about creeps using our personal information when working with a company. I truly hope this goes viral and I hope corporate puts a fire under their ass about this man and his actions."

The service men who delivered it, Justin and a helper were very nice and didn't leave until they put it in the area I wanted it. Justin made sure I was happy with where they put it and he made sure it was working before he left. Both guys who delivered it were hard workers and very nice. 5 stars for these two. We purchased a freezer in September 2025 from C&C Appliances in Lake Charles and it stopped working…read morethe week before Thanksgiving. Service person came out and said he would order part. Came two weeks later with the part and said it was fixed. It was not and I called to let them know that afternoon and they said give it overnight to cool. Yeah right!!! High temp alarm constantly went off and no cooling. Called C&C that day and was told they had to order another part without even coming to look at it. Here we are another 2 weeks later and nothing. Called them again today and she could not give me an ETA on the part. I am beyond frustrated at this point and will NEVER purchase nor recommend C&C Appliances to anyone!! When you spend over $1200 for a GE freezer you would expect it to last more than 2 months. I asked to return it for a new one and was told that can only happen in the first 7 days after purchase. Really??!!! I also purchased the extended 5 year warranty, but it looks at this point that it will not even last a year. My next recourse is to speak to the owner, Larry Wright, who advertises on TV that this is the best place and will meet or beat any price. He didn't say how crappy the appliance was nor how poor customer service is. Does he even know? He needs to find out.
