    Matcha with lavender boba tea
    Madyson C.

Stopped in a few weeks ago for a matcha to get me through the afternoon. I added vanilla and lavender and it was delicious! This is conveniently located in the Garden on Palafox. The girls working were very sweet and my drink came out very quickly. The boba was the perfect texture too!

A Florida 5/5 for boba! This place and Quicklys off of Cervantes are the only places that I would trust to get good quality boba in Pensacola. It's located in The Garden at Palafox with other food trucks, which is nice because the area has covered tables to eat at. The milk tea was good and didn't taste like powder added to milk. I got my drink around 6pm, and the boba tasted and felt fresh, indicating that it wasn't just sitting there for hours. Will come back again!

Probably the best Boba I've ever had. Very good in every way. (Also the lids are adorable and I like them)

Had lunch here and tried a few menu items. I liked the smoothies, avocado toast and tofu scramble,…read morethe açaí bowl was ok but the açaí itself didn't have much flavor. The everything cookie and matcha cheesecake were really good. All the staff were super nice and accommodating, and I enjoyed the live music on Sunday. Will be back!

Cafe Single Fin: Great Concept, Average Plate…read more Cafe Single Fin is one of those places where the experience starts before you even find the restaurant. I drove around the block several times looking for it. Turns out, the restaurant is tucked inside a surf and skateboard shop. Once I finally figured that out, I walked in and immediately knew this wasn't going to be your average Pensacola lunch. The cafe is basically the centerpiece of the shop, surrounded by some seriously interesting vibes. I was greeted by scream-o music, which eventually segued into coffeehouse music and then some lighter indie stuff. Quite the musical journey. I half expected the playlist to ask me to pick a lane. What drew me in was the menu. Clean, interesting and exactly the kind of thing that makes you think, OK, these people might be onto something. I went with the blackened mahi tacos with rice and beans. And this is where things got a little less interesting. The food was fresh. The presentation was nice. Unfortunately, the flavor never really showed up for work. The mahi was supposed to be blackened, but I'm not convinced the blackening seasoning actually made it from the kitchen to the plate. The beans were also undercooked and under-seasoned. Nothing was bad, exactly. It just lacked the punch that the menu had promised. And that's the frustrating part. There is clearly a cool concept here, and the menu has enough personality to make you expect something memorable. The plate just didn't deliver the same energy as the room. Maybe I'm simply outside the target demographic. There seemed to be a pretty strong twenty-something surf/skate crowd, and perhaps I'm just not fluent in the culinary dialect of that demographic yet. Interesting place. Interesting concept. Interesting vibes. Friendly/helpful staff. Pretty average food.
