New to the area and trying out several places to take my fur babies. All About Pets was clean and didn't have a foul smell like some of the other shops I've been to prior. My mini schnauzer is a grumpy old guy and he actually came out very calm and had a thorough cut and was perfect. My little Maltese hasn't come out looking quite right in the face at the other places, but he was cut perfectly adorable here. I believe I've found a new groomer. read more

I took my dog here to get groomed. Yes I will admit that he isn't the best dog when it comes to being groomed but after working at a vet clinic for 5 years not all dogs are but they nicked his ears with the clippers and didn't say a word to us about it when we picked him up. I know accidents can happen but they should have mentioned it to me. Now it is really bothering him. They also didn't want to see proof of his shot records which I should've seen as a big red flag. I have been taking my dog to get groomed here for about about a year now & I must admit that most the times I was happy with how he was groomed but I think in the last 5-6 months I don't know what has changed that my dog always comes home with a razor burn last few times on his ear & belly this time he has the worst razor burn around his tail. I feel so bad for him because the first few days he looked like he was in pain. No, I didn't bother to call them and say something because what can they do about it? Nothing. Probably just apologize and that isn't going to make my dog feel better. I will Not be taking him back there! My dog is a small schnauzer who is very quiet & well behaved so I can't imagine why this would happen. Just keep that in mind if you decide to go there. The lady who sets the appointments is always very friendly. The place is clean, & they always get me in quick, the only thing is that my baby has come home with burns from the clips. I took my dog there to get a hair cut for the summer. I picked her up and they told me how good and well behaved she was. By the next morning, my dog was totally listless and had no energy at all. She wouldn't eat and you could tell something was very wrong with her. I took her to the vet and she had over 104 fever (a dog's temp should be around 101) and they said she had a RAGING infection behind her ear because they had cut her so bad. While looking closely at her, they found 9 other smaller nicks and she had razor burn on her tummy. Since this was the first time i had ever had her shaved, i didn't know what her normal skin color would be. Well, it was totally red on her belly. She was in bad shape. It took about 3 days and an overnight stay at the vet for continous fluids and antibiotics for her to get better. I can't believe how awful this place is! read more
