I worked with Pete on the right size and brand of the tankless heater. The tankless heater I was looking for wasn't available locally. So, Pete went the extra mile to order it from a different town. My new tankless heater looks neat and slick. It's quiet and efficient. My house is over 60years old. It has old and complicated plumbing.do, the crew had to do many adjustments to make it work. The team worked very hard to reinstall a new gas pipeline and new exhaust system. They were very professional and committed. They did not charge a single dime for all the additional work they had to do to make it work. I had a dedicated closet for my old water heater. The team hauled away my old heater, removed the unnecessary pipes (gass, water, drainage) and cleaned up the dirty closet. Now, I have an extra closet that I can use for other purposes. They installed a couple of Solar Attic Fans for us. They completely changed our cooling scene in the house. Our AC was working nonstop in this hot summer and still the inside temperature wasn't getting below 78F. Our attic is no longer a furnace and the living spaces under the attics are noticeably cooler. Our AC can breathe now. I am a happy customer and I highly recommend them.

I…read morewas able to get an appointment squeezed into an already busy schedule as most companies including this are usually booked up a couple weeks out which is fair . But unlike the other companies Brushy Creek Electric made and exception for my small but tedious job and where able to come out the next day . I basically had a Sonos SL One speaker in wall mounting kit that needed an outlet added to the inside of the mounting box where the speaker sits. This is so you don't have to run any plugs inside the wall but rather just plug the speaker into the wall mount itself . This isn't like a regular cord hiding kit where you just cut a hole up top and then another one next to the outlet on bottom to plug it in with the cord showing on bottom. It actually needs to be hardwired into the existing electrical wires in the wall and I wasn't about to attempt to mess with it myself not knowing one thing about electrical work other than hanging simple lights and fans. On top of the fact that my stud / wire finder was saying there where wires I could possibly cut through by accident behind the sheet rock. Also the fact this whole project was under my staircase which is built a little different from the rest of the interior walls so it's sketchy for me to just cut away. The kit is by ( Thenos ) not Thanos from the Avengers by the way which will pop up on autocorrect every time you look for the company on google incase you want one lol . I'm happy I chose Brushy Creek Electric , Greg was patient with my questions very neat with the work he did and affordable considering what I was asking him to do. He was also pretty quick with the job and made sure everything worked as it should before completing the job . I will say I called around plenty of other reputable companies and got twice the price and a longer wait time for an appointment as I did with Brushy Creek Electric. I'm not saying he's super cheap because to be fair all jobs change depending on the task and difficulty level which you should always consider . I am saying he will get the job done rite at a reasonable competitive price according to the industry standards and you won't have to worry about issues later because he definitely knows what he's doing . I say this because its not fair to make up this idea that because someone got a good deal on a job that you deserve to pay less than what is recommended and then get angry when it's not what you expect on a quote . Everything was fine on the install, we left on good terms and agreed to hold $500 for when the remodel was completed and pay the $500 when he came back to do the start up of the systems. Unfortunately we had to wait about 13 mths for the City of Austin to do some transformer upgrade work and so getting power onto the 4plex took much longer then expected. - And this is where Bill and I disagree. I did call and text to on multiple occasions to have him back out to do the start up around Feb 2022. Bill replied on a text message but was then unable to get hold of to do the start up. - I had to contact another company who then charged $2000 to do the start up and provide new remote controls to all the systems as Bill had the remotes that he didnt leave at the units. Fast forward to 2024 and we are learning that the tenants are having a hard time controlling the mini splits and its been happening for quite some time. We find out that the lines controlling the mini split heads have been incorrectly wired. - Im sure this was a simple mistake upon installing, where there are 4 lines, and a few got mixed up. Recently, had a company come out and price us to re-orientate the lines to make the corrections and they quoted $6000. - I contacted Bill and he wont come out because he didnt do the start up and therefore he cant warranty any of the install work he did. My point here is that no one ever touched the lines. When the start was done no one disconnected anything, they just did the startup. Bill did the install, therefore, (mistakenly), probably mixed up the lines. Why he wont take responsibility, I dont know? - The reason im giving the 1 star is because he wont even come out to assess the reason for the issue. I even told him id pay him if it was something that wasnt part of the initial install. So thats why hes getting a 1 star is because he wont just own up and help us figure out the problem, and maybe take into account that maybe he installed the units incorrectly. Hes claiming that we still owe him the $500 and hes losing money. - Im still happy to pay him the $500 but not even wanting to help is where im getting frustrated...
