Watch out for the word compulsion because it means forcing the dog to do something (aka punishment). Tony says he was trained by world renowned dog trainer Dr. Helmut Raiser who's RSV2000 kennel club is currently under review from being expelled from the VDH (German Kennel Club). Dr. Raiser has published many books but is formally trained in dentistry - dog training was a hobby that he turned into a career. I am not aware of any formal schooling that Tony has had. Tony will throw a bunch of fancy terms and accomplishments but never provided me with any of the documentation - he was on Oprah and consulted with Michael Vick's dogs. Couldn't find anything to back that up from my research. If you care for your dog, please don't sign a contract that releases someone from gross negligence with your dog. I hope no one has to see what I had to see and have to lose their dog.

We did not reach out for further sessions after the first few but circled back after a few months hoping for a different experience. After booking an appointment we were notified that the only trainer for this company in our area was leaving the business. Now we have spent $2,000 for a lifetime trainer that we can no longer use. We have reached out to corporate for assistance but no one will respond to us. Overall I would not recommend this company unless you are looking for basic training. I do not think all behavioralist trainers are created equal and this company is not providing a true behaviorist trainer. Certifications don't necessarily translate to quality. Couple that with poor customer service and you have what appears to be a money grab from customers that are genuinely looking for help in a time of need.

Started verbally abusing me for being 10 minutes early. Very confusing situation I have never been heckled by an employee for being 10 minutes early. I can only justify her behavior by saying she is mentally unstable. Sadly, the assistant manager, although very nice didn't seem to do much. I wouldn't trust this woman with my dog, she clearly has anger issues.

I started doing research on her and actually got in touch with many of her other victims. There are dozens & dozens since January 2019. She changes her business name constantly. If you had a similar experience, report it to the NLPD (non emergency line) at (815) 485-2500. Attached are pictures of her state ID, Castro's nose, series of text messages. It seems that after my post many others reported similar stories and criminal charges will be filed.

BUT.....IF you have a dog that is easily spooked and scared and is harder to train, please go somewhere else. Stone City Kennel Club is MUCH better for the skittish dogs. The dogs that are eager to please are the dogs that they focus on. The dogs that are not....well.....let's just say that we did not return for the last 3 sessions as we felt like we were not only wasting our time, but their time as well. It's also a faster pace training which we did not appreciate.
