I came to Lou and Linda for my 2023 tax return. I didn't feel I could trust my old accountant and Lou was quickly able to point out to me many errors that were made on my past return. Although a bit pricey, I liked that Lou really tells it how it is and doesn't pull any punches. I threw them a couple of unintentional curveballs and they handled things gracefully. Would not recommend. I paid Lou for accounting services and filing my 2018 taxes. Never reimbursed me for failing to complete my returns. After giving Lou the benefit of the doubt and allowing several opportunities to complete the work I finally had to ask for my money back . When I contacted his office he said he would not return my money and told me he wasn't going to do anything further for me then rudly hung up the phone. Honestly, I think my small business return was above his capability. He doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable about certain aspects of his perfession. He probably files a mean 1040 EZ form, but I would not ask him for much more than that. ​ read more

Very disappointing and upsetting. I am very organized and brought to him very organized information (no shoebox full of loose receipts!). He made financial mistakes on my return which I caught (and I'm not an accountant). One of the mistakes, he argued with me in his office. I believed him (hey, he's the professional!) and he filed our taxes. I looked into this issue and found that he was incorrect, and I was correct.
