I paid approximately $10,000 to Delerme CPA to prepare and file an amended tax return. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Since then, the IRS has sent multiple rejection letters regarding the amended return, and the issue remains unresolved. Every time I follow up, there seems to be another excuse, but no real resolution. Communication has been poor throughout the process. I rarely receive updates and have had to repeatedly contact the firm myself just to find out what's happening. For the amount I paid, I expected knowledgeable representation, proactive communication, and timely resolution of my tax matter. Instead, I have spent years waiting for an outcome while receiving repeated IRS rejection notices and no clear path to fixing the problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Delerme CPA. I hope they improve their communication, accountability, and follow-through so other clients do not have a similar experience. read more

Let me be explicitly clear when saying this. DO NOT do business with Delerme CPA. These reviews are 100% from their friends and family. And if I could provide 0 stars, I definitely would. Buckle up, let me give you full context behind my experience with them. July 15th, 2025 I sent a request for a consultation and scheduled a zoom call with Chris Trevino the very next day on 07/16. That day, we discussed a plan of action and what goals were. We agreed on $10,000 for my personal and business returns. A client engagement letter was sent on July 30th and I officially became their client on August 12th. I had to resign the engagement letter on October 14th for what reason, I have no idea. But after that, we were off to the races. They asked for all my documentation and I provided everything they needed. In November, I was asked to upload a few docs and I did so. I wanted to get an update on next steps and a general timeline for completion. I contacted my initial Business Development Rep Chris, but I soon found out that he was no longer with the company. Well, this is odd I thought. If he was replaced, why didn't a NEW REP call me to inform me of the change. The entire month of November goes by and crickets. December 18th comes and they FINALLY ask me for my quick books info to go through my financials (4 months after the engagement letter) and after that, I don't hear back from them until FEBRUARY 25TH!!!!! It took me going up to the office PERSONALLY, taking time out of my own schedule, just to light a fire under their A$$, just to get a response! And when I finally got on a call with Victor and his colleague, you know what they gave me?! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Victor wasn't even prepared and he never knew that my tax returns weren't completed! So you know what that tells me, he has 0 clue about his own business affairs. Who the hell gets on a zoom call to discuss next steps when the 1st steps were never completed! And to top it off, he tries to sell me on the idea of becoming a fractional CFO. As if I would hire them for anything else in the future. Fast forward to March 19th, and now I meet with Aldismary. She says Mr. Harris, your returns are ready. And I'm like it's about god damn time! We get on Zoom and she's not even prepared!!! Claiming that the team never uploaded them to the portal. I can't make this up man! So another week of waiting again. What's the timeline now you say, 8 months!!!!!!!!!! I get on the Zoom with Aldosmary and now I'm completely done with these people. She provides the personal return and I'm like ok, I don't care about this. That's simple. WHERE IS MY BUSINESS RETURN?? And you guessed it folks, it STILL wasn't ready! As I'm writing this, it's now currently March 31st and I'm fuming angry! I have to take time out of my day to write a scathing google review. $10,000 and all I have to show for it is a personal tax return that I could've went to H&R Block to do at Walmart! Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT fall for the tricks with these clowns. These reviews are complete nonsense. Don't ever do business with any organization that doesn't treat you like a priority. And Victor, I told Aldismary that you needed to reach out to me and rectify this. And you chose to be a coward instead. Do not use this firm run as fast as you can. I have used them for several years only to discover they were adding businesses and deductions that I had no knowledge. Totally unaware of their deception until I received an IRS notice and then they offered to work out a payment plan on my behalf for $2000, absolutely unbelievable. Prior to reading these reviews I was under the assumption it only happened to me, now I owe 18k back taxes due to fraudulent information being entered, and mind you I still had to pay more than $1360 that would have been due without the unauthorized entries. In my opinion, Delerme CPA is among the worst firms in existence. Based on my experience, I've found this firm to come across as supportive, knowledgeable and trustworthy, while delivering the complete opposite of whatever is legal or expected. I could not recommend in a more straightforward or strong manner that you run the other way without delay. Others tried to warn me, but I thought this team was getting a bad rep so I learned the hard way. Please don't trade places with me. My opinion is based on the fact that I paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and not one federal or state tax return was ever filed. So this professional relationship did not last. After following up personally with the IRS we were informed that some of the filings were not submitted to them. What!!!! Victor's team provided copies of documents that were "supposedly filed". The IRS said if they were filed and it's their error, they would correct it once confirmation of e-filing was resubmitted for review. Needless to say, no confirmation has been given to me. Delerme charged us for services not rendered...the automatic drafts were taken from each account despite services not provided. PLEASE DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THIS MESS LIKE I DID. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Terrible. I have been doing my own taxes for 25 years with zero issues. My business had grown so much that I did not have time do my myself. I used Victor for 2019 taxes and paid his very handsomely to file PPP Loan with he promised was 100% refundable due to my expenses. Well, my 2019 taxes were not filed correctly and with many errors, my PPP loan was not forgiven and now I owe $18k. I now have a good CPA and I am paying to have so much fixed. Delerme, CPA had been doing my taxes since 2011. I am not sure what happened in the last 2 years, but I could not be more upset with the level of disregard they have for their clients. The Office Admin Karina Reed (She was my primary contact-NOT an actual CPA) is completely nonresponsive, she made SO many mistakes on my forms and NEVER once apologized. I could never get hold of the CPA that was signing my forms (they changed CPAs without my knowledge for the year 2019, they just put some guy's name on my return I had no idea who he was. 2018 was filed late without my knowledge and I only found out because I received a letter from the IRS stating they would lien my house if I didn't make this late fee. And now I have just received another penalty (I thought I learned my lesson from the previous year, but it seems I didn't) For dealing with something as sensitive as taxes this company is the bottom of the barrel. And if you are someone who would like even a reasonable amount of communication then go somewhere else. read more

I had an extremely negative experience working with Delerme CPA. In providing all my complete personal and business documents in January 2016 - I did not receive any completed documents until late August 2016. His staff would ask me the same basic questions every 2-3 months when I literally begged them for my tax returns. On top of all this - I got hit with a $1100 late filing fee because of Delerme CPA...that just came in December 2016. Do not use...highly recommended to go anywhere else. Absolute worst experience of my life!!!!!! When I spoke with accountant "Victor Delerme", over the phone. He was so unprofessional, and rude, it made me post a youtube video about the company. I had instructed Victor that I was a start-up company, that partnered up a contract with Georgia State University, but rather go through them for accountants, instead of using interns. I told him that my company was a financial company, and he would get paid during the closing of deals, like in real estate. He totally had very little requard for my business, due to the fact we had no track history. I didn't understand this because, it has nothing to do with how he would get paid. His payment was secure, and I even discussed insurance that would cover his payment. But he was so big about historical track record of a new start-up, that he would not even allow me to book an appointment, due to it being tax season and he has other things to do!
