What initially created the need for the call was a gas fireplace that would not ignite I had previously tried ChatGPT, called a chimney sweep company, and even called the previous owner of my house, all to no avail. Within a few minutes of of arriving, Jordan was able to locate the hidden shut off for the gas fireplace and get it working pretty promptly. While here, he was able to notice a couple of other things that needed attention. My tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly by the previous plumber, and the technicians from Hukill's were able to manage that. And also, when it came to a clogged sink in our master bathroom, they were able to address that as well. By the end of our time together I had heard some good stories from Jordan, I was able to practice my French with Joseph and most importantly had a lot of small annoyances cleared up (literally) leaving my home in better functioning order than when they arrived. I like the fact Stevan himself came to my family's home and did a good job estimating the project at no coast. We worked together and met as a price. He drew up the contract, I signed it and gave him half of the money up front. The project date was set and I felt optimistic hiring them to do the work. The morning the work was to begin, I waited for Steven's crews. At 9:00 AM an eighteen wheel pulls up to my house and unloads the material in my yard. This was on a Thursday. At 10:30AM, Stevan's crews had not arrived. I called the project Forman and he was very apologetic saying they had cancel the project for Thursday the day before due to the possibility of bad weather. He apologized due to not contacting me regarding them canceling. I was furious. I had canceled work for that day to be there for the roof replacement. I called Stevan and requested we cancel the contract. At this point I didn't feel optimistic about this contractor. I let Stevan talk me into moving forward on the contract and we set a date for the following Monday with the promise that he would personally supervise the project. I told him I was flying to New York and I wouldn't be there on Monday. He assured me he would take pictures and I would be happy with their work. Monday---the day of the project. The workers showed up and went to work. The Forman called me and I tried talking to him but there was a huge language barrier. Stevan sent pictures to my wife and she forwarded them to me. They did a good job but not a professional job. Their quality control is terrible. I hired them to replace the roof, some decking, a lot of the facia boards, drip edge, a section of soffit, and two new boots and turbine, as well as flashing where needed. They finished the job in one day. The roof is now new. They replaced the turbine-new. They did not install the two new boots. The flashing they installed looks terrible and there's areas that need flashing that got over looked. The facia boards will have to be replaced do to poor installation and poor quality control. There's areas of the drip edge that will need adjusting due to being flared upward. This project consist of a hip roof and two sections of flat roof. The flat roof was to get a commercial grade rolled roof. The hip roof was to get shingles. My wife and I spoke with Stevan regarding the color-match of the two. Stevan assures is the colors would match. Well, they don't. Not even close. I am still in New York and have yet to see the roof in person. I spoke with Stevan regarding the above issues and he became offensive saying he felt as if I were "attacking him", and he mentioned they had done extra work and didn't request payment for the extras. Completely unprofessional. I explained to him that I have a right to expect a job well done, and making excuses is not professional. I also reminded him the terms of the contract in respect to additional work: he would contact me and we would come to an agreement. Stevan has assured me that he will have someone at my house next Monday to fix the above problems. He did however say the electrical riser will not get the promised (in the contract) boot due to his worker not feeling safe with the installation, despite the pre-contract talk with Stevan assuring me there would not be any problem with the installation. He even went as far as to explain how the install it. Again, I will do a second part to this review after the corrections have been made. I may do an additional review after seeing the job in person. Hopefully it'll be a better review.

My husband and I used multiple carpet cleaning companies before we found Robert and Veronica. We've been using them for three years now and don't plan on calling anyone else to clean our carpets. We have 5 children and two dogs. This morning, our carpet looked like a dirty football team ran through our home. Robert and Veronica always leave our home with a new look after they work their magic on our carpets. When we used the other companies, our carpets returned to their dirty look after about a week. Now, it takes about 5 months of our mini football team trampling our carpets for them to look dirty again. We live in a Solitaire doublewide modular home and the carpet started buckling due to settling about a year after we were in it. (we have lived with it for 3 more years) It was to the point that it had to be done. All Action was recommended and today they came and did a fantastic job of stretching the carpet that involved 3 doorways and an entryway and heating and air vents in the floor. AMAZING!! After shampooing and totally putting large furniture back in place my floors looks brand new. I am so pleased and would recommend this company above and beyond any other. We had a burst pipe that flooded 1/2 of our house. Robert, Veronica and Jesse did an awesome job extracting the water and doing the demo on the walls and bathroom that were affected. They are extremely hardworking and efficient and kept me in the loop on the entire process. Robert came back and checked the moisture content until everything was dry and removed the fans and dehumidifiers. I can't speak highly enough about this awesome husband/wife team. We had one of our dogs get sick(both ends) throughout the entire house and they were here cleaning the carpets within 24 hours. They went above and beyond pretreating stains and going over them multiple times to get them cleaned. They moved everything and put it back on foam blocks to not damage the furniture. Awesome work for the price. Floors look and smell great. My uncle taught me that a poor man cant afford cheap things. With that knowledge, I'm not shopping for the cheapest carpet and tile cleaner ( possibly ruin your carpet and tile and/or will need them to come back sooner than the usual because of lack of quality) and I cant afford that.
