Well here it is 3 months later and I continue to appeal to him I need the dishwasher picked up. I'm a 65 yr. Female and I have no way of getting it out or having money to pay someone else to pick it up!!. I paid him cash for the job and tipped him beyond generous. JUST A WARNING. . . I thought, at the time, it was maybe too in-depth but I was naive (Shout out to Fortress Inspections in WV - it was amazing) then I bought my second house in GA. The realtor (a whole other fiasco, Dwelli) set up Saxby. I lived 6 h away and the day I saw the house for the first time was the day of the inspection. I noticed during the inspection there were obvious things that were not noted in Kevin's report. So much that when I wrote back to the realtor, she thought that my notes were Kevins and I had to reply, no these are what I found that he didn't such as a damaged/irregular glass on the front door. I did not persist too much and went with it because it was already falling faster than my hopes and dreams for an easy transaction. One major thing was the outside AC unit looks like death and there was no notes in the report, this may be up to SOP for inspection reports but I thought it was worth noting due to the importance of AC in GA. Now that I have moved in, A LOT was missed. Windows not operating at all, broken fixtures, and I am thinking this is a shame this much was missed. And the AC unit When I did the inspection in WV, it was less than 1/2 the price and the gentleman had to travel far. This inspection was not only a percentage of the quality of my house in the middle of nowhere but also expensive. I am not pleased. I want to be fair and maybe Fortress goes above what is required but for the price that was charged by Saxby, I expected more.

From the day I met with them, I was finally at peace and knew the work goals would be reached. They did not improvised themselves as A Dry Wall company.  I have met with so many supposed professional, for this project. I cannot count how many ridiculous interviews, quotes I had with contractors, apprentice carpenters, or painters thinking they could grudge us and do a similar job. We even had a company telling us they needed one month to so this work! Within One week Meredith framed, sheet rock, finished our 3 walls, and one was really hard to design. On time like Swiss clock. Yes they are quite booked and have waiting list, but believe me, it is worth the wait, sometimes we want fast and end up with the wrong team. What I appreciated as well is that they are not mercenaries of work, they take jobs one after one and do not csncel you because you are small, or not a mansion or else. HONESTY all the way. Gentlemen and the ladies behind the scene from the bottom of my heart, thank you. When I first contacted James, he picked up his phone - points. He scheduled an appointment to view the property in a few days and showed up on time - more points. The quote was very reasonable and when we were ready, I contacted him again and he started work the following week. There were a couple of issues due to the transitions between new and old drywall (older house), but James and his crew knocked the workout in the originally scheduled days - ultimate points! I am pretty particular about the quality of work I allow in my home and my rental properties. I come from a construction background, but hate to drywall. You can't really ask more than someone who picks up the phone, sticks to his word and does great work on top of that. To my great delight, I found that Reco was also a skilled electrician and plumber which saved me time, money and effort and finding someone to handle those issues in the home as well.
