They were v. professional yet personable. Very efficient in unwrapping and careful not to damage any of the items or the walls, etc. They were v. concerned about getting everything correct and making sure we had everything exactly how we wanted it. Can't think of anything to ding them on: it was an excellent value and we'd definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

The…read moreworst experience was Armstrong Movers who left us with unpacked boxes so as to catch their plane, This recent move we paid FL Pro $2,800. to pack and unpack (I found some unpacked boxes stacked in back of walk-in closets) they moved us across town to another assisted living apt. I packed up all our breakable antiques except 2 pieces of English art pottery. They were a 12" high Baby owl and a baby raccoon. I found them on the floor unwrapped with a bunch of pictures (we also have found the glass on some of them broke). The ears on the raccoon were chipped they allowed me $25. credit. Most of the power cables on printers, computer and lamps were pulled out and not packed with the device. They came back and found one of two I could not find. I found the last one today. They are very friendly but the young men are either poorly trained or do not care. Of course we find that in all lines of work nowadays.

Right away, I appreciated how upfront and honest they were with their pricing, and I loved that they are a family-owned and operated business. We scheduled our move about a month in advance, and they only required a very reasonable $100 deposit to secure our date. The day before our move, Genevieve called to confirm everything was set. She also let me know that the foreman would call the morning of the move to confirm their exact arrival time, which made the whole process feel very organized and stress-free. On moving day, I was introduced to our team: Richard (the foreman) and movers Aaron and Dylan. I showed them what needed to be moved, and from that point on, they took complete control in the best way possible. They worked efficiently and professionally, and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. We were initially quoted 5 1/2 hours, but the job was completed in just 4 1/2 hours. Even better, we were only charged for the actual time it took--not the original estimate. That level of honesty is so refreshing. Richard and his team took excellent care of all of our belongings. Everything was wrapped in moving blankets and secured with packing tape, and all items arrived at our new home in the same condition they left our old one. When I checked this morning (Monday May 2), while waiting for their arrival today, there was a message at 9:00 AM, "This job got taken off our schedule because we could not confirm the job." When I called them asking why they cancelled, they told me since I didn't reconfirm SUNDAY EVENING, they were not coming. Jim hung up on me without any apology or options. We are a non-profit animal rescue organization, run by volunteers, and we needed this company to help us move necessary appliances to our new facility so that we could reopen and continue with our mission of taking in unwanted kittens and cats and adopting out to their forever homes. I can't believe Yelp would keep a company with such lack of morals on their list of companies. Please be forewarned they do not live up to their commitments.
