Andy came out and was very professional. He eradicated the problem and removed the nests. He cautioned me to stay away from the area for 24 hours. One day later, I checked and only a few lost wasps came and left once they realized they were homeless, just as he said would happen. Just to start treatment was more than $1,000. Perry Pest Control came out two days later, after I'd discovered fleas on our dog. As soon as I saw the rep, I said we must have flea treatment in addition to everything else. But as Terry went through our house, he carefully checked for pests. First he determined the termite and carpenter damage was old. Then he showed us marks on our pavement where our house had been treated for termites before we bought it. Hmmmm. He gave us the straight story on rat eradication and said we should wait and see if the problem isn't helped by my effort to close some holes in our fence. I still wanted the flea treatment. Terry asked about how our vet treated our dog for the fleas. When I told him, he said that medication would take care of the flea problem, and if it doesn't, we can call them back. Perry Pest Control showed up on time, didn't lie to us, and actually SAVED US MONEY. And I should add that the dog appears to be flea free, as is the house, I've not seen the rat again, and we don't have active carpenter ants or termites after all. Perry Pest Control could have made a fortune by scaring us and lying. They didn't make a dime...yet. We will DEFINITELY call them again when we have a problem. Fantastic service without the snow job. The first available time suggested didn't work with our schedule so I asked about a day two days after that and she said she couldn't look that far out so a supervisor would call me back that afternoon. But nobody did. I waited over 24 hours to call them back and there were no apologizes for not calling. I was given another day that was even earlier than the first date she suggested. We scheduled it but the morning of the appointment she called and said they had to reschedule because one of the techs had called off. That happens so we rescheduled it for a little over a week later. Nobody called the night before to confirm, which should have been my first clue, but nobody came during our two hour window. I called 45 minutes after the given window and nobody answered. I called about 5 separate times that day including leaving 1 voicemail to call me back. It's been over a week and I've called on two separate days and nobody has answer nor have they returned my call. I've even looked them up to make sure they're still in business. Will never go back again.
