First of all I WAY over estimated the time I would need them. I had a one bedroom apartment and I was just moving from one floor to the next floor up. But I had a lot of furniture and stuff! They moved my entire apartment in 1 HOUR!!! I was floored! That was up stairs too! They were FAST, professional, courteous, on time, took great care with all my belongings. I can't say enough good things about them! Communicated well before the move as well! I am SO using them again when I move next month. Their prices are MORE than fair! They make moving SO easy! Amerigo far surpassed our expectations! We had a 15 ft. U-Haul to be loaded. Initially we were…read morequite disappointed as they were late. After calling they explained new scheduling software issue. The scheduler came to our home to start the staging while the actual team was on their way (a step above). We had 3 items that were mandatory everything else was icing on the cake. Gave the team a tour of what they had to work with. To say that Evan & team member were masters at loading the truck is an understatement. They were able to load EVERYTHING we showed them PLUS extra that we didn't even begin to expect. There is no way to explain exactly how much they were able to load. The truck was packed so well that when we got to Oklahoma (from MO) unpacking was a breeze. Nothing shifted or fell as we unloaded (not our experience with a previous packing team/company). We have one last truck loaded to move and AMERIGO will be our go to.

On the 17th of July I had the unfortunate experience of this company moving our things to our new…read morehome. First off the truck arrived later than I was told it would. That in itself is not a big deal. Than I am told by Jamie, who I assumed was in charge that the estimate I was given on the phone was for 2 men and he had decided to bring a third and there would be additional charge for 3rd guy. Didn't give me the choice for this up charge-strike 2! The truck was than driven by this extra guy thru our lawn and over sprinkler heads(thank God no damaged as we were closing on this house in 2 days!) When it came to wrapping our things it was sloppy at best. Most things had a blanket draped over them but not secured. I asked if they had a mattress cover and was told by Jamie that they did only to see my 4K mattress being loaded on the dirty truck totally not protected!! Now my mattress is dirty with hand prints and greasy stuff!! And while I am talking about the truck, the lift gate was malfunctioning and after taking time to work on it (on my dime) they decided touching wires together to make it work was the way to go! ‍ Everything eventually was loaded in a timely manner (one of few high points) than I was told they would meet me at my new house after they got lunch. It was a hot day and a break was needed. Once at the house to unload things went fairly smooth. More dirty sweaty hand prints on my mattress and my leather sofa (which had never been covered) was scuffed and the material bottom ripped! I don't feel as if I was asking to much of anybody to be careful with walls and hardwood floors, didn't really feel I should have had to remind them of this. But alas I did over and over again, no protection was ever put on the floor. After all was said and done my bill was $400 more than quoted me! And I was told to send damage claims to Amanda's email. Which I did as the movers were walking out my door! Along with pictures! That was on July 17th. Today August 2nd I received a email from Amanda telling me she still has not sent my claim to insurance! I was holding off on a review of this company in hopes she would do the right thing and I would have something good to tell but no such luck. So sad, we used this company 15 years ago and I was all praise for them than. Proceed at your own risk and if a truck with Mallory on the side shows up close and lock the door unless you care nothing for your earthly things! Oh I do have to give Sam a good review he showed up days later to install my mirror back on the dresser. First guys had lost the hardware and he replaced it. He was in a van with no reverse gear with the WORD MALLORY ON THE SIDE!! Thank you Sam our visit was enlightening!
