I called to cancel service for breach of contract, and instead of dealing with the issue, they charged my credit card a termination fee. Sent a letter to the president of the company (he received the letter because I have signature confirmation), and guess what...crickets from him. Save yourself the money and hassle of this place and go with a big name company where you have recourse. Edit: They did reach out after this review to rectify the situation and said would refund the early termination fee and cancel service. If they follow through with their end, I will amend my review and give them kudos for doing the right thing.

I would highly recommend Mobile Notary to anyone with little time and the need to get these legal documents completed quickly. Total time spent from start to finish, was around 15-minutes with Richard and his wife Teri as one of our witnesses. Phenomenal service for a great price! $30 for them to come to you, $10/stamp (ie. 1x will needed 1x stamp), and then $10/witness provided by them (so, for us, we needed 1x more witness provided by them), for a total of $60. I was originally given an estimate of about $250, but as we continued talking, the price kept increasing and eventually reached around $400. While that amount is still within the range of what I've seen elsewhere, the way it changed felt a bit unexpected. I understand my grandfather lives a bit outside Spokane, but I felt that transportation should have been included in the overall quote--especially since I explained from the beginning where the pickup and drop-off locations were. Being told there would be an additional $100 gas or transportation fee seemed excessive, especially for a relatively small move. No hard feelings toward this company; I just want others to be aware of all fees and ask for a clear, final estimate before making a decision. Transparency is important, and it helps everyone feel more comfortable with the service.

When that didn't work they threatened a lien on the property and sent the bill to a low end collection service. They have billed me about $1000 now and provided no service. A "family" business. When I called to confirm this had happened, the individual I spoke to was unhelpful, indicating that it is totally normal for people to receive email meant for another person -- that may be true but the lack of concern around sharing my social was disconcerting. I remember spelling my email aloud, meaning that there was a typo not corrected -- if the notary can have customers visually approve the email, that'd be appreciated.
