I couldn't be happier.. Vernon seems very well versed in pest management and is just an overall friendly guy. He got me on the schedule the day after I called and he showed up on time. He returned a few days after his initial visit to check the traps and removed three large rats. He subsequently made two more visits to block entry points and check for additional pests. Luckily there were none. And all of this was for the upfront price. No charging for extra trips and giving us the feeling we were being taken advantage of. This was nice being that I had no prior experience working with a pest company, so I was very concerned what it was going to cost. If you think you have an issue definitely don't wait to call him. We called Vernon after telling a friend about a rat problem that was starting. He came on time, crawled around under the house and checked out everything and found the problem spot. Gave me an estimate, then went to work for about an hour. That was Wednesday and today is Friday and I'm happy to report no more rats. He closed off the spot they were coming in. Set traps in case some were down there. Vernon came back today exactly when he said he would to check the traps, and no rats. I can finally sleep now. I highly recommend this business. read more

Vernon was great and incredibly knowledgeable. I called when I heard/ noticed a bird pecking at our house. Vernon came over and knew exactly what the issue was and gave us some great insight into the specific birds that were coming in. He was able to get one of his workers to come very quickly to put metal mesh over our ventilation holes so the birds wouldn't able to get in. Overall a fantastic job. This company was sent out to my place of work to remove a birds nest that had baby seagulls. The guy came out, he removed the birds nest alright, however, he tossed the baby seagulls off the roof. I called the company and asked them what their process was. I was informed that they only handle three types of birds, seagulls were not on that list. I told the lady what happened. She had the audacity to ask me what my "title" was, because my "title" is the only thing that matters in this situation. Instead of telling me they would look into this horrible ordeal, she told me they would pass along my message and someone "might" get back to me or contact property management. It's clear this company lacks morale. They might be an OK company for pest sprays and such, but definitely nothing regarding animal removing. Which is amazing that they would do birds nest removing if they are not qualified and don't train their employees correctly. read more

We have used Tahoma Pest Management to remove a wasp nest and to take care of an ant problem. Both times, Vernon showed up exactly on time, and the prices were very reasonable. With the ants, he came the same day we called, did a full treatment inside and outside (which partly involved climbing up a gigantic ladder to put bait inside a ceiling fan fixture at the top of our 25-foot ceilings), and gave us a little bottle of his home-made honey to boot (it was delicious). Unfortunately, the ants came back a few weeks later (not unexpected or unusual, even after a treatment), and Vernon came back out the same day we called to do another treatment. Contacted Craig Family Honey Farms/Tahoma Pest Management because I was sure Honey bees had set up a new nest in my attic and I wanted them moved if possible. After I described my situation to Vernon over the phone he was skeptical of my assessment and said he would come by to take a look later that day. Took him less than a minute to determine yellow jackets were taking advantage of an opening under our soffit and less than 20 minutes to suit up and treat the area. Bees were gone as promised within about 2 hours. He also reduced the price he quoted me over the phone (which was substantially less than what a few friends had told me they had spent for the same service) because the job wasn't as troublesome as he envisioned and because I originally called him as a bee keeper to preserve what I thought was a honey bee nest rather than calling him for his pest management company to have them destroyed. He spent some time with me afterwards sharing his knowledge and providing advice on our ongoing battle with spiders in the house. I have had to use a pest service several times over the years and was never moved by the service enough to write a review before. It's always nice to find a service provider you are so happy with that not only will you use them again you will look for opportunities to recommend them to others. read more
