My main sewer line gets clogged by tree roots on the exterior of our house, and All City has come out a few times to help us fix it. When this happened to me on Saturday, I called at least 10 different plumbers on Yelp with varying degrees of responsiveness and availability. We had a sewer clog and had to get another company out (the one Marshawn reps) on a weekend to clear the line. $2200 to jet a line which should only be a $500 exercise at the most. Better to be "freakin" than call that company. We ended up getting bids and most were within a few hundred of each other. We ended up choosing All City Sewer Repair because David, the owner, spent the time to TV the line for a full diagnosis. In reading other reviews, it seemed a logical choice. David and his crew showed up and immediately started into hand digging an 8' x 6' x 10' hole under a deck to get to our concrete sewer line that had collapsed. His crew replaced the broken line and then lined the remainder of our sewer all during the winter snow and temps in the 20's. Part of the lining was very difficult due to a house expansion that the past owners placed over a portion of the sewer. The lining crew struggled with it but got it done. No other companies were willing to even try and wanted to get under the house and dig. There ended up being extra work but David absorbed it into his costs. At all times he over-communicated and never left us without water or sewer at the end of each night. He left the area better than when he showed up. We cannot recommend All City Sewer Repair enough especially if you're not in a position to get multiple estimates. read more

Asked All City Sewer to put in a liner for my side sewer. David was initially very responsive and came 1 day late after notifying me that his truck had broken down. His crew dug up the area, installed a temporary pipe, put safety netting around the big hole and said they'd be back tomorrow to jet the pipe, put in the lining and finish up. All good right? WRONG - they didn't' come back for another 2 weeks!! He said he had hurt his back and couldn't work, which is totally unforeseeable and understandable, but what is not, is that he strung me along, telling me everyday that he'd "come tomorrow" and then never show up. He didn't bother to even let me know. I had to text him towards the end of every day, asking whether he was coming or not, only then would I get a response, and no apologies. His crew also used my hose without asking me, turned off the auto watering system I had set up for my veggie garden and broke the spray nozzle. I only realized this after they had finished. Then once the work was done he asked for payment immediately. I put a check in the mail that day, and when he did not receive it 2 days later, he had the gall to text me at 9:30pm Fri night saying he didn't get it yet. You made me wait 2 wks, you can wait 1 more day! His work passed the inspection, so hopefully all's good. He was competitive with his pricing, but he needs to work on his communication!!! read more

David was great! Pre-inspection found a few things that we wanted taken care of before preparing to list our house. Of the bids I received, he was the most communicative and detailed. He pulled the city sewer map, did a full scope and calculated the cost a few ways for me (my initial scopes didn't get all the way to the city line since my pipe was bendy) I wanted to make sure that I understood worst case scenario, so that they could continue working if there was more that had to be fixed after repairing. David was quick to follow up with his bid and when I let him know we wanted to move forward. He quickly filed permits and managed all of the necessary details. He showed up on time, as scheduled and went above and beyond to get work completed quickly and efficiently. After work was completed, he did a full scope and and made it all the way to the main.
