On Easter Sunday, My car had been towed from my apartment all the way in Goodyear to here, unannounced and unexpectedly. Called 911 to report it stolen to find out these people had it. Got the number to ACT and spoke with Renae and she told me if I came "after hours" it would be $50. But to actually get my car, it would be $255 in total. She told me I would need the owners Drivers License (my mom) and the registration... after my mom got home from work we headed straight there. We arrived and the gates were closed. We called again and the same woman Renae answered she said again what she needs for my car. Might I add my registration IS IN THE CAR WHERE IT SHOULD BE?!?! Never told me that going to my car to get it wasn't allowed And she told me that, that would not work, I needed it in hand. She told me I would have to go to a 3rd Party DMV and buy a second copy. She made us drive all the way from Goodyear just for her to say NO! She then said we can come back in the morning- appointment only. We came in the next morning and the woman who helped us was extremely helpful, wasn't Renae. She got me in and out in less than 20 minutes. I am a first responder I was on call last night there was no parking spots in my complex so like normal myself and several others parked in front of the dumpster, I got an emergency at 2:40am and my work vehicle was gone. Tow truck companies typically get a bad rap. This company is the reason why! They drove through my friend's apartment complex where i was visiting and towed my car. It was not in a tow zone. They charged me $310 to get my car. both times I spoke on the phone to the receptionists or whatever they were both incredibly rude and condescending. When I arrived at the facility, the gentleman who retrieved my car for me was actually very nice and even commented the price was way too high and that he would be very upset if he was me. When I requested the pictures from the company, they took almost a week to get them to me. Of course, they only took pictures of the angles. They wanted to my car was clearly not in a tow zone. An employee at the location on 20th st in Phoenix stole items from my vehicle after it was towed from an accident. I'm 100% positive that a 24pack of Arizona teas and a 15pack of poppi sodas were in my car at the time it was towed. When I went to retrieve the rest of my things from my vehicle a few days later, the drinks were gone. I called to let them know what happened. I was very polite about it. I did not expect that I would get my items back I just wanted to let someone know that they have a dishonest and predatory employee. The receptionist was immediately very rude about it and dismissive, chuckled and said "well what is that like $30." Yah, but that's not the point. I can easily replace them, but it's the principal of the matter. Your employees shouldn't be taking advantage of people who are already clearly not having the best day of their life. I was not accusing anyone in particular because I'm fully aware there's multiple employees and there's no way for me to know who it was, but she sure immediately got defensive about it. I filed a damage report with their company a few days later but it's been a week and no one followed up so I guess management also doesn't care that they hire thieves. My gas light was on I had to replace my brakes they had put a donut tire on I found my rim in the trunk all scratched up. This was a situation that we had no experience in taking on, but the operator was truly professional at every step, and we were able to remove the broken crane completely in one piece and safely lay it on the ground. read more

They don't care about anyone; the bottom line is if they can make a buck, they'll take your money anyway, anyhow. I would stay far, far away from this shady company. ACT picked up my car after an accident-I was there the entire time, I saw my car go onto the flatbed. 2 days later I went to the tow yard to retrieve the rest of my personal belongings and my glove box and center console were completely empty (not even a spec of dust). Gal in the office says, well, our drivers would not do that. No one else, other than ACT employees on site, would have had access to my car. She offered to let me make a claim and they would "investigate"-as if anything was ever going to happen with that. They stated that they are 'not allowed' to enter the vehicle but the woman that explained to me that my married name that was on my DL was not on the registration ... which was in the car. She brought all those pieces of ID to the window where she was "assisting me. This company has very dishonest policies, I caution you to work with them if doing so by choice! An employee of All City Towing decided to enter a gated community, unlawfully tow a vehicle (not ordered by the police), and take possession of the vehicle. All City Towing is not the company the HOA uses and so these people came on their own behalf, took a vehicle that was parked in a regular authorized parking spot for the community, and without being requested to do so by the community HOA. https://www.phoenix.gov/police/resources-information/towing-information, in relevant part provides: 1. The tow company can hold your vehicle until the satisfactory payment has been made if the tow was ordered by the police. 2. This place is horrible. Do not trust your car with them. Went to pick up my car. The employee drove it out, got out and walked away. There was damage to the front and the fender was disconnected. I tried to get the employee's attention but was ignored. Finally got the employee to follow me out to the car and pointed out the damage. In addition, there was money in the car that got stolen. I was told I had to fill out a form and that the decision would be sent to me via mail and there is no way for me to contact them. Received the letter saying they are not going to resolve the issue because "obviously" it had been there before. WTF??? It was absolutely NOT there before. Called All City at 2:28 to arrange towing. Was put on hold about 4 times and eventually told the tow truck should be about 60 minutes. I called 80 minutes later at 3:42 to follow up...put on hold a couple more times and was told wold be 30 minutes more. Called again at at 4:42 was put on hold another couple times and was told it wold be another 15 minutes. It is now 5:05....and they still aren't here. THEY LIE!!!!! Though the person contacted me and told me they were going to send an application and an assesment and they will call after its sent back. it doesnt happen. i would call back and i would be told they'll review what i returned and call me first thing in the moring. after 4 or 5 conversations with promises to call back, I gave up. They could have told me they've filled the position or just let me know something. Not brush me off. Turned me and my relatives off of this towing company. I've moved on.
