When my car left me stranded on the side of the 202, my insurance company quoted 3-4 hours(!!). There was a storm rolling in, so i started googling and calling around on my own. Every major tow service had dispatchers that quoted 2+ hours that day as they said they all have contracts with insurance and police so those tows come before cash customers. This review is long overdue. Long story short, my fiancé flipped over in a kayak in the salt river and my keys ended up at the bottom of the river, yes she was fine. So I had to leave my car at phon d rec area overnight. My buddy big wave tried to be a brother and call AAA tow service the next day so I didn't have to pay a bunch of money for a super far tow to the volv dealership so I can get a new key made. Another long story short, AAA flipping blows, I guess big wave doesn't even have the premium coverage cuz he's poor.. So I hopped on Yelp and called one dude then another then I found this dude, so sorry I forget his name. This guy is such a brother! Just s freaking angel, complete opposite of AAA. He came to my spot, picked me up and we drove 30 miles back out to shitville east Mesa only so this dude could literally show me how to break into my own car! Obviously the legal way, he got the volv open in a few minutes, although it was a pain in the you know what. So this dude got my car on then we shipped it like 35 miles back west to the Volvo dealership and everything was golden. The dude literally charged me like 200 bones for honestly what was at least a 300 dollar job; such a brother move! Not kidding, I will never call another tow truck guy this guy is the Man! They gave me a quote (which sounded good), and they took about 30 minutes to get to me (they told me it would take this long, based on where I was). It was the owner (Alex) who showed up and was very knowledgeable about both cars and towing - I have a car that's relatively low to the ground, and he was very careful loading it on the flatbed so that nothing was damaged. Once we got back to my place, we even tried (to no avail) to fill the tire back up, but it was enough for me to get it back in my garage. I called Phoenix Custom Towing for a flat tire i got just after getting out of work. Since I am no expert with changing to a spare, I looked up tow services and Phoenix Custom was the first result. Response time is correct! They were in Tempe and i was just off of Dobson & Baseline. He made it there in 20 minutes, got the car up on the tow bed and off we went to Discount Tire. Price was reasonable, about $65 but for the response time and being stuck in a rut, I really can't complain. Friendly guy too just can't remember his name.
