The staff was incredibly friendly, compassionate, and understanding when my dog was very sick and pooping straight blood. My regular vet of four years would not see her because she had not been in for a yearly visit, even though she has been healthy and up to date on shots. They simply told me to go elsewhere and were not helpful at all. All Creatures got us in within the hour. Everyone was kind, caring, and reassuring from the moment we walked in. They truly cared about my dog and took the situation seriously. The pricing was also very reasonable, and I honestly would have expected to pay much more for the level of care we received. Most importantly, they showed compassion and made me feel like my dog mattered. Thank you for being there when we needed help most. Costumer service sometimes is not good, at least 2 or 3 times per year, it is worse when they hear an accent when you speak English! I go there and I pay the whole amount always, not asking for favors or discounts. I just got a phone call, she didn't identify herself, I didn't ask sadly! She was talking down to me, she said I got a medicine in the fridge and I saw that your dog was seen here same date, you asked for it, I am still having the medicine here, I don't want this happen again in the future, I confirmed her twice that they saw my dog. So I don't know what else she wanted! This is why I am not going to deal with them anymore, letting my husband who speaks with no accent to deal with them in the future. I am in utter disbelief with this company. I brought my cat in for a checkup with All Creatures because I noticed he had dropped more than half of his weight over the period of a month. They examined him, and I was told "As far as they could see, he's fine." Not even three days later, I come home to my cat dripping blood from his mouth. Obviously not being a professional, I thought I had minutes left with my cat. Wanting to do something for him, I rushed him to my local emergency clinic and was charged $190 to find out he had bad gingivitis that was causing his gums to "pull away from his teeth" and an ulcer on the roof of his mouth, which All Creatures failed to inform me about. To top things off, the same day, my family reached out to All Creatures to ask why they didn't inform us, and they told us we would have to wait a week to speak to the vet who did the exam on my cat. A week later, we're supposed to get a call from the vet. Mid-afternoon, no callback, so I go in myself. The lady sitting at the front desk said there was nothing in his case file besides them calling us to see when they could do dental work. I was also told there was no superior or supervisor in the building that I could speak to. So I left my name and number and returned home. Practically as soon as I walked in the door, I received a call from a supervisor. She went on to belittle my situation, telling us that it actually is in the original file that he had gingivitis but it's "not the worst they've seen," and "he's older so it could be a plethora of other things." I can excuse a mistake of missing to mention his teeth (even in the condition they're in). But as a customer for five years, when I'm fighting with the supervisor because they made a mistake and I want recognition for it, I then become the problem in their eyes. This entire experience has shown me that All Creatures doesn't prioritize their patients' well-being or their clients' trust. Their negligence and dismissive attitude are unacceptable. Brought my bun in for a wellness check a week after adopting her because she was sneezing nonstop. The vet didn't address my concerns about her sneezing at all and proceeded to quickly check her teeth, ears and nose. I brought up the sneezing again and he said it wasn't really a big deal and that she was healthy. Less than two weeks later she has pneumonia and GI statis. Luckily I changed vets and she is on critical care now. I wish the vet would have taken better care of my bun when the symptoms were early and shown more compassion rather than being frantic and rushing through my appointment. The whole fiasco was because someone was smoking pot in the lobby and the vet was more concerned with that then the animals entrusted in his care. If you have a cat or dog - maybe. But a rabbit or small animal I would look for somewhere else. Advocate for your pets - they don't have a voice. read more

Very disappointed that I wasn't properly informed that my kitty was terminally ill. After a surgery was performed on what I was originally told was a cyst, there was no mention of it being terminal cancer. Then within months it came back, that's when I was told. Talk about crossed wires! Then when I took my buddy and loving kitty to have him put to sleep, as I held him close to my heart, the doctor couldn't find the vein after 5 try's! I said you are done, through my crying eyes, bring someone in that knows what they are doing. That doctor was able to do it in one try. I had a Dashchund dog named Oscar who was now 14. I used to go to Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. I went there for at least 15. Years with 2 dogs at the time a little expensive but I didn't care they were taking care of my babies. While having the older Doxie he got sick had surgery and ended up living till 13 when they said we did all we could for him and I decided to put him down. In the mean time I purchased the mos amazing little Doxie who was 6 weeks fully trained and of course adorable. So I took him to Dr steers Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. At first all was good until while he was boarded and given a bath they dropped him cut his nose. I stayed there because Oscar had a seizure from that fall so the new Doc there said she would come to the house since Oscar was afrai to go there. Ok to make a Lon story short since the new office was built I was able to take Oscar there. Now years go by. My dog developed sinusitis which they said nothing could be done for him. Gave me some pills and went home. I took care of Oscar myself cleaning out the heavy mucus everyday. Now it came time I had to board him for 2 days. They refused to board for fear he would check when no one was around. I than found a great vet. All creatures animal hospital. They checked Oscar thouroghly and said they would have n problem boarding him. He recieved his chops there and they are all very into making you comfortable and your fur baby. The girls and the docs the best. Unfortunately Oscar hurt his back. They took me for an appt and gave me a great Doc Dr Rich. And a techie Amy. Both amazing with my dog. Did the best they could with meds and heat laser. But to no advail Oscar could not take the pain any longer an at 14 no surgery for him. My choice and even theirs. Any way I had to call today because Oscargot worse. Painfull couldn't us his back legs. Brought him back in and Dr Rich when over him completely dog was in a lot of pain. I could not see him going thru the pain and there was no reassurance he would get better. Amy and doc were so amazing to us explained all. This veterinarian is probably one of the best that I have ever gone too!! They understand the expensiveness of bringing a pet to the vet and work with the owners to reduce prices. They are very caring and understanding to issues without judgement. Personally I have three dogs, one is from the humane society, a 15 year old shih tru, and a golden doodle that is nervous and skinnier than I would like him to be(he was technically an ok weight, however I prefer my dogs to be on the heavier side). The vet understood and he is go in a quite room that little people walk by so that he wasn't so nervous! They also understood his weight problem and helped us create a plan so that would help him to gain weight. They took into consideration the amount of money we could pay and how far we would be willing to go. They worked well with our older dog in what she needed and the best way to deal with her medical issues. Took my cat here b/c of reviews on Yelp. I did not have a good experience. Disorganized, expensive, inefficient, lack of follow through, uncomfortable facility. But very friendly. 1. The facility is all concrete, tile and metal and therefore very loud - my cat was completely freaked by all of the noise. The waiting rooms are like holding cells in jails. I don't think I would have minded if I hadn't been kept waiting for so long. But seriously, if you are going to keep clients there for hours (literally), it might be nice to have a something to sit on, more than a vinyl cushion on a concrete bench. 2. Waiting 30 minutes before I was shown to a waiting room. While I waited, I got to watch the myriad of people who work there visit with each other, share stories, hang out, pretty much everything but acknowledge me. 3. I was shown into the waiting room by technician #1. 4. Wait another 15 minutes, 5. Technician #2 comes in and weighs cat 6. Wait another 15 minutes. 7. Technician #3 comes in and takes down info and takes cats temp. 8. Wait another 10 minutes, 9. Vet comes in. Listens to cats heart, feels her tummy. says she needs to do blood work. Leaves. 10. Wait another 10 minutes. 11. Technician #2 comes back and takes cat for tests. 12. Wait another 10 minutes (which I completely understand, they are drawing blood). 13. Technician #5 brings cat back in. 14. Wait another 20 minutes (I understand this wait - they are running diagnostics on blood) 15. Vet comes back in and says all tests are normal but she does have a temp. So we're not sure what's wrong, so let's give cat fluids and some antibiotics, She leaves. 16. Technician #2 comes back and takes cat. 17. Wait another 10 minutes. 18. Technician #6 brings cat back. When I ask her "are we done here?", she says "let me check". 19. Wait another 10 minutes. 20. Go to pay the bill - $330. Seems excessive. 21. 2 days later, cat still is still sneezy. Call, put on hold for 5 minutes. Leave message with a receptionist, who assures me vet will call me back. 22. 18 hours later/next day, still waiting for someone to call me back. 23. No call back, I call again. Put on hold again. Very bad experience at this veterinarian. Not only is the building cold and stale and uninviting, the care my dog received was sub-par. If you choose to use this facility you really need to be very proactive with your pet's healthcare. Be very knowledgeable before you go in. Make sure you know all the tests available for your pet and ask for them because here you will not get informed information or choices. You are basically on your own. I speak from experience. My dog was walking around for nearly a year with cancer before my new vet in CO tested him immediately -- no questions asked. A local woman recommended All Creatures. We soon discovered that he had terminal metastatic cancer. Throughout our experience at All Creatures, the staff was extremely competent, professional and compassionate. While ultimately, there was nothing we could do to save him, I'm comforted by knowing that he received excellent care. Dr. Carrie was fantastic. I have been taking my animals here for years, 4 dogs and a cat to date. I saw a previous vet downtown for several years when I only had my golden and a cat I rescued & had been over charged & talked over for years before finally getting fed up and trying the new facility here at All Creatures. Shortly after starting at AC, I 'inherited' my mom's elderly, sweet, pit mix that had to be put down after a year or so of their care. I couldn't have gotten through it without them. They were kind, understanding and let me move at the speed I needed to move at while saying goodbye. Since coming to AC my older golden hasn't needed painful procedures my old vet told me was maintenance & necessary. My golden (now age 16) had to be muzzled when we first made the move out of fear when we finally left the old vet due to these procedures. All Creatures offers 'Happy Visits' where you can just stop by with your dog to get a friendly hello and a treat or two in order to show your dog not all vets are scary! I have added chihuahua puppies, a 2.5 yr old female we started there when she was a new puppy, and a 9week old male I just took in today. As usual they were kind, attentive and made us feel special with our new addition! Even with a packed parking lot, we were in and out in a reasonable time frame and the vet took the time to check his teeth, belly, stool, eyes etc & gave him his shots but made us feel like it was our first puppy and a part of the family! With today being Christmas Eve Eve, and a packed parking lot, I wasn't sure our last minute appt would go as smoothly as it did and always does! Great job All Creatures!
