This review is for the all creatures on call service. Though it is great to have someone anyone to ask even relatively simple questions regarding a possible issue, it gets real old real fast when the entire conversation turns into nothing but a high pressure sales situation. Note to veterinarians like these: 1.Perhaps you shouldnt pressure people worse than rabid bill collectors when they are concerned about their family members. 2. Obviously it's hard to say on the phone what the likelihood of danger is it could be in any situation exactly but one would think that experience and actually giving a damn about the people you serve and their pets should matter more instead of alarmist bullshit based on basically no information. "It's most likely deadly!" Oh no i suppose i better just pay the man whatever I can't afford for his 5 minutes of conversation or risk my pet dying, but yet what can I possibly do if I am poorer than 150 dollars per five minutes and a 500 fee just to be seen at all. I hadn't realized that if you're not rich enough you simply do not matter. Nor does the innocent life you are trying to save, at least not to them. Really utterly unprofessional, unnecessary, and most damningly it speaks to a lack of integrity, sadly. read more

We were traveling on vacation when our 17 yo Shih Tzu became extremely ill. She had been in age decline for some time but this was very sudden and it was obvious the time had come to have her euthanized. We happened on All Creatures Clinic as it was close to the RV park where we stayed. We were seen by Dr. McLuer almost immediately. She was very thorough and professional in her exam and could not have been more compassionate and supportive during the process. The support staff was helpful and respectful. TLDR: Despite specifically requesting my cat's X-rays be sent to CSU (where I have a contact), the vet sent them elsewhere without consent and charged me for it. When I, a loyal customer for 5 years who has always paid my balance at the time of visit, disputed the unauthorized charge, I was told the vet has "full authority" to make decisions and charge at will. Poor communication, billing issues, and unprofessional service culminated in being hung up on, threatened with collections, and invited to have my records sent to another veterinary clinic. My cat had been having respiratory symptoms for quite some time. After several visits, I requested a more thorough examination at the very beginning of July. X-rays were recommended and performed. Jim suggested sending the X-rays off for further analysis to a specialist. He said there were multiple places the images could be sent, and asked where I'd like them sent. I requested CSU as I have a friend who works there, and I said this to Jim. Jim mentioned his clinic has a difficult time working with CSU, but I reiterated I had a friend there and would work with them to ensure the images were reviewed. The following week, Jim called and explained the results from the specialist. Jim recommended that I bring my cat to CSU for further testing. I asked to confirm that CSU had reviewed the images, and Jim said he had sent them to a different specialist. I reminded Jim that I had explicitly requested the images be sent to CSU because I have a friend there with whom I can work. Jim agreed to send them to CSU. A few weeks went by, and I hadn't heard back from Jim, so I called myself. The next day, Jim returned my call and said they never heard back from CSU. I asked him to send me the results and said I would personally get them to CSU. Jim agreed to send me the results. Shortly after speaking with Jim, I received a call from a technician, informing me that the clinic had been hacked and they were unable to send emails. However, they would call me once their system was up and running again to let me know they were sending the email. A few days later, I received the results in an email, but the report was upside-down. It was also in black and white, but featured a colored graph with multiple colors in the legend. I called and asked if the report could be sent right-side-up and in color. I was told they were having problems with their scanner, and that is why it is upside-down. I said I could come by and pick up the physical copy and scan it myself. I was told I could not have the original, but could be given a copy. I asked if the copy would be in color and was told no. I said that would not be helpful, as there is a colored legend with a colored graph in the report. I was then asked why I even wanted the report. I explained that I was trying to get the report to CSU and was told that they had already sent it to CSU several times and never heard back. I explained I knew that, and that was precisely why I wanted the report, so I could work with my friend and send it myself. The technician then agreed to reattempt the scan, this time right-side-up and in color, and it worked. I sent the report to CSU and was able to work with my friend and get an analysis. We are now in the beginning of August, and I received a bill in the mail from this clinic. There were two charges listed on the bill that were due. The first charge was for the analysis of the images sent to the specialist that I specifically requested it not be sent to. The second charge was a "Service Fee". The next morning, I stopped by the clinic when it opened and told the receptionist I needed to discuss a bill. The receptionist began explaining recent charges and payments, and I informed her that I was aware of the charge but wanted to dispute it, as I had specifically requested a different service. I then mentioned that I did not know what the service fee was for because the service was not listed on the bill. I was told that was an interest charge. This was the first notice I received that I had a balance due, and it had already accrued interest. (The clinic does have a policy of charging interest for balances not paid within a month. I did not dispute this policy, just the fact that there was no notification of a balance due before receiving the interest charge.) I was told the office manager was not in yet and that she would leave a note for the manager to call me. Less than an hour later, I received a call from Wade. He explained that his wife is the office manager and she doesn't handle these things. I explained the situation and was told Jim's notes say he disclosed to me that he was sending the images somewhere other than CSU. As you have read above, this is not the case. I told Wade that the notes were incorrect and tried to explain that I would never have agreed to send the images somewhere other than CSU, and surely would not have agreed to it if there was a fee. What a joke. The tall one didn't really care. It was an emergency so that was a extra 400 bucks. The tall one put my pet on an I.V. for two days. The tall one said he wasn't eating much and with a laugh said he would just fall over. He would eat better at home. Well he would not eat at all. The total cost for the tall ones services was almost a 1000 dollars. My friend died in less than a week. I'll never go there again. What arrogance the tall one has. So that's my story. read more

Don't let the receptionist push you toward dr Wade. We were on different wavelengths. He wanted cash by ordering tests that I told him I didn't want, and I wanted to preserve my cash cause I'm cheap. He was smart but I Didn't care for his attitude. Expensive with no extras like healing dry nose with oil. I can't imagine having to put my dog down with him. read more

I had used these guys for years. Then I moved. So while I was visiting and my dog decided to break his leg. I went to them, since in the past they were great. BIG MISTAKE! While yes they gave me a great referral to a WONDERFUL orthopedic sergeon. ( hence the 2 stars) They did not how ever even stabilize the broken leg, and would NOT help me carry him to the car and help me put my pup in the backseat for the 5 hour drive to Denver. Due to the lack of caring from Dr. Wade there was more damage done to the break. which ment my dog was in surgery longer 7 hrs. By the time we had got to Denver my pup was in so much pain you couldn't touch him. Thanks to the Vet at the denver place Dr.Epple my dog didnt have to walk into the clinic causeing even more damage. It's a shame this once renowned vets office has taken such a horrible turn :( read more

Poor customer service, and very poor record keeping . Their prices are 25% more than other vets in the area. The younger male vet is extremely unprofessional. I have tried serval times to use their services due to good location but time and time again they forget to log shots in my pets records . It's very frustration. Overall it's an extremely unprofessional vet clinic. I suggest taking your business elsewhere to avoid lots of troubles. read more

I love all the people here. They treat me an my cats great been going here for years. I have 3 cats 1 is 20 years old and needs lots of care now. They help me a lot with him. I wouldn't go to any other vet in town. An they are not over priced for clean rooms and good vets. Their prices are just what it should be. read more

I have been using All Creatures for around 10 years now. They have always been more than helpful with all of my dogs issues. I have 2 dogs, one is 15 and one is 8, we lived in the country and these two could figure out how to get a weekly vet visit in for stitches, quills, bites, etc. The older dog had to have surgery when he ripped all the ligaments and tendons out of one of his front legs. Although the surgery was done at CSU vet clinic, Dr. Wade and his team were fantastic in the rehab and follow up visits, ensuring a full recovery for that old dog. Top notch people here. read more

Really friendly staff and beautiful place. I brought my year old Mt Cure Collie mix in because my vet was out of town and she pulled out part of her stitches. The Doctor stapled her up over her stitches which I guess is fine, my vet didn't seem to impressed. I wasn't very impressed with it being $198 when it only cost $150 to get her spayed but my hands were tied. I pretty much stayed up all night with her because I noticed before I even got home a staple had fallen out, by the next afternoon the same area was open so I called but they were closing. I asked if I should try butterfly stitches and the gal said yes, I bought two boxes and kept taping her together, and stayed home with her 24/7. She is better now but I feel I pretty much would of been just as well of just walked in and hand them $200 and say thanks and leave and got the same results! I gave two stars because it's a nice place and they were really nice! read more

I was out hiking with my dogs on the weekend. My lab-mix slipped on some gravel and broke his leg. I was able to get reception and call the after hour service. Dr. Morrison opened up the practice for me and set the fracture in no time, and gave me great advice on how to keep him from putting weight on the leg. Needless to say, we switched vets! read more
