After getting the exact opposite and finding uncolored grays left underneath to boot, I contacted the owner who at first didn't respond at all. Then when I contacted a second time said that the attached color is light brown/dark blonde and that this is what I asked for. She also claims to be chemist in the medical field and says that the attached is LIGHT brown/dark blonde and that I'm imagining that it's not darkest brown of all possibly a level 4 or 5. I guess the customer is always wrong at "Blondie's" and I guess I don't know what light brown/dark blonde is despite 20+ years of coloring my hair at other salons. She ruined my hair color and gave no recourse so now I have to pay over $300 for color correction at a reputable salon. Hope this helps whomever is considering.

Braider (was also the shop owner reportedly) was 45 mins late to the appointment. My husband took…read moreour daughter for this appt and took pictures of the progress. I texted and called the braider to communicate I was not happy with how the braids were looking. The lines were not straight and the braids were bumpy/uneven (possibly due to using too much weave). The braider reported in our phone call that my pictures were bad pictures and too dark to give an accurate depiction of her work. I disagreed with her, citing the lines are visible regardless of how dark or bright the pictures were (they were not dark). She advised to take a look at the end result in better lighting to see a better view of the braids. I, again, let her know we intend to finish the appt, but I am providing feedback that I do not like the look of the braids. Following the appt, my husband sent more pictures and eventually I saw them in person when they got home. The braids look just as they did from the pictures. The lines are NOT straight and the braids look like a beginner just learning the craft. My biggest issue is the lack of accountability. The owner/braider dismissed my feedback about the braids and the fact that she was 45 minutes late. I was also charged a $6+ service charge for using our debit card to pay. We paid via Zelle last time. She noted my husband is an adult and could have paid another way (we'll take that loss). But her response, rude. She noted "everyone charges a service charge for using cards". No apology. No attempt to rectify the concerns. Just dismissed their bad work. I came here once before and had decent service. Braids were nice, but could have been better. I was giving this salon another try and thought simple box braids can't be messed up. I was wrong. We won't be back. Neither will my sister and her daughter, who were also customers here (my referral source).
